What can you say, a ruler is a ruler. My other one this size has black and red markings and is very smooth both sides. This one has slightly raised markings so helps "grip" the fabric more. The colour of the fabric usually determines which one I use. A ruler this size is handy when cutting smaller pieces.

Bought this ruler for my EPP. It works as it should do although was hoping for a slightly larger version which 8ncluded more metric sizing. Other than that it works ok and I am reasonably happy with it.

Very useful ruler. New to sewing but this has helped getting seam allowances accurate. Very sturdy.

I use this product when I am rotary cutting patchwork fabrics. I have larger/ longer rulers but this one is perfect for when I’m cutting smaller pieces of fabric or sub cutting strips into smaller units.This size of ruler is hard to come by in the UK, so I was pleased I could order it from USA. The price of it was very reasonable, free postage and packing and it arrived well before the estimated delivery date.

Big enough that you can cut strips without too many repositions, small enough that you can get a good pressure across it to stop it moving. Good range of markings to cut quarter/ eighth/ half inch, and the inch lines are well differentiated. The ruler I use most.Buying this one as a replacement for a the same item that I’ve had for fifteen years. So yes, after 15 years the corners get a bit bashed and the yellow fades - but who doesn’t pick up some wear and fading in that time?

Quality is what I expect from Omnigrip. I wish they had the 1/4' seam allowance on the 4 sides instead of adding 1/2' on 2 sides since I got the ruler for fussy cutting. They have done this for years so I should be used to it.
