It works!!!
My doctor told me about this and it works. While it is costly. For me it’s worth it. I still struggle with digestive problems and IBS. I don’t wake up with stomach pain now. Highly recommend.

Fantastic after a stomach bug!
My aunt recommended this product to help with my sensitivity to garlic and onion. I honestly don't take it often enough to notice if it helps with that issue, but I will talk about something else this helped immensely with recently. I had a stomach bug for 4 days, and once I was recovering, eating absolutely anything was giving me extreme heart burn and acid reflux for hours. So I tried taking this before eating on day 6 and miraculously, no heart burn or reflux!!! I'm continuing to take it before meals as my body continues to heal and I truly believe this has helped speed up the process and is getting my gut back in order!

Works great but to expensive
This product is very good and works as described. However, it’s very pricey!

I missed alliums so much!
Well, it works! It's also not a capsule, thank goodness. I'm so tired of capsules. It is very important to use this product as directed. Read the website if you need to! For pasta, I mix a full packet in with my bowl entirely. I make sure my serving size is something I can eat in half an hour. If I add seconds or thirds and am still eating after half an hour, I add a second packet. For sandwiches, I open up the sandwich, pour one entire packet onto a pickle or something and chomp the whole pile in one bite. Careful how you hold your sandwich, I have definitely had powder flow out and then licked it off my wax paper, ha ha ha! I've also had a packet explode onto my hand and just licked it off. Gotta be careful with those things! For pizza and garlic bread, I used the sandwich method. I just poured a big pile on a single slice and made sure to keep track of time. Remember, if you go over thirty minutes and you're still eating, you need to add another packet! I was initially worried the powder would be gritty, but it's incredibly smooth and I cannot tell individual parts apart at all in my mouth. I have noticed the powder does sometimes taste slightly sweet, especially if I'm putting it on garlic. It does not ruin the taste of whatever I'm eating, fortunately, as it is very quiet. It works a charm on onions and garlic, but I have not tested things containing inulin such as maple syrup. Too busy eating onions and garlic. Red onions, how I missed you! As a note, I try not to use this product too often. While they are correct in their assertions that eating a more balanced diet is healthier than a more restricted diet, the powder definitely causes some slight constipation, which is not healthy. I have noticed this with lactase before and this product does contain an absolute boatload of lactase, so I'll blame that until otherwise proven. Fortunately(?), I have a chronic gut issue that already prompts me to buy Miralax in bulk at Costco. Anyway, what an extremely ironic side effect! The whole reason I stopped eating onions and garlic (and maple, etc) was because they would promptly attempt to exit my body at Mach 3. Now I can eat them again, but it'll be a while before they wander out. Well, it's definitely easier on my clothing. All in all, highly recommend, five stars, I've already purchased one of the bigger packs (ouch, my wallet!) and am about halfway through it. I will absolutely buy another one after that. It's so, so cool to be able to eat alliums again!!

Amazing product!
Amazing! Yes, it can be pricey, but if you struggle with eating out, it is more than worth it. IBS issues had me always worried about dinners with family, be it home cooked or dining out. Now, I have limited worries. Fodzyme does not help with certain things—honey, apples, agave, etc if they are trigger foods. BUT it does help with so many more! I’m able to eat pizza, dairy and things I thought I would be able to. I usually sprinkle one dose on my dinner, if I am eating a larger meal, I will do two packets, spread out. It doesn’t have any taste. The individual packets have 1/3 of a tsp in them vs the recommended dosage of 1/4tsp.

Still using it a year later
I've been using this product fairly regularly for about a year now. Fairly regularly because sometimes I forget and sometimes I just can't be bothered. It has its uses and it definitely is not a cure-all. I'm reading a lot of the low star reviews and I'm fairly certain those people have not read what this product is, the intended use, or have inflated expectations. To be fair, the instructions are pretty vague; you're supposed to sprinkle a 1/4 tsp on a portion of food, but what is a portion? Who knows. It's important to also note that the enzymes in Fodzyme will denature at temps above 140F/60C. I found that out the hard way. And it clumps when you sprinkle it on liquids like soup, which seems to make it less effective. But, it's a trial-and-error situation and it doesn't take too long to figure out the approximate dosage and proper application. So, a little background. I was diagnosed with IBS by my gastroenterologist a while back, which is their way of saying they don't know what's wrong. Through personal research and tribulation, I found it to be food related. Specifically, my digestive system can't breakdown FODMAPs. I also developed lactose intolerance at around the same time. Enter Fodzyme. Depending on the type of food and how my body is feeling that day, Fodzyme will leave me pretty comfortable after the meal. If the food has a lot of FODMAPs and lactose, think onions, garlic, tomatoes, cheese, etc., I will use twice the dosage, reapplying mid-meal. That usually works. Not all the time. Don't ask me why. I'm just glad it does most of the time. I also take a lactase supplement called Lactojoy when I eat dairy. I don't trust Fodzyme to have a sufficient amount of lactase and it's incredibly expensive to use for that purpose. This product has given me the confidence to eat a more balanced diet and is forcing me to pay attention to what I eat. Like I said, it's not foolproof and you need to figure out the dosage yourself, but it's better than avoiding all FODMAP triggers and living a sad life. Despite its minor flaws and inconveniences, I still think it's a 5-star product that improves the lives of people dealing with IBS due to FODMAP sensitivity.

Didn't work for me but the customer service is good
This product made no difference in aiding digestion. I eat low fodmap & anti-inflammatory as it is. Using fodzyme has no effect on post meal bloating. No detectable changes at all using this expensive digestive enzyme. Others have had great results, I am just not one of the lucky ones.

Works well if you follow the instructions: Sprinkle on food (sufficiently cooled to prevent enzyme denaturing) and you will enjoy foods without getting sick. I use the full recommended amount, and use more if I eat again. Fodzyme treats most of the FODMAP oligosaccharides that are blamed for the unpleasant side effects of IBS.

Excellent for fructans and GOS intolerance. No I can enjoy pizza and so many other things when out with friends, and I don’t need to ask my family to alter their cooking.
