Strong and quality
Size and also compact just right for carrying in a bag and standing on a desk. Material is strong and well made.

Functional but lightweight
This looks just like a previous phone stand I had but everything about it is lighter. Many of the parts which were metal on the other version are plastic on this and the base in particular lacks weight. It is functional and is well-priced. I added a couple of self adhesive rubber pads to the bottom to stop it sliding and it does the job on a train journey.

Why pay more
Needed a stand to better support my phone when on video calls and when the web cam wasn't conveniently to hand. Lots to pick from in this category so I took a punt on this one simply because it was cheaper than most whilst offering some adjustment and clearance to plug the charging cable in whilst on the stand. Apple have a very similar official product for close to 40quid which is probably slightly better grade materials but still nearly 10 times the price of this. Glad I went with this. It works great and when my phone is on it you barely see the cheaper plastic parts.

It doesn't stay in position
Not good. Was OK for occasional use over a few weeks bit then the bar keeps slipping down.
