I have bought these heat shrink tubes on numerous occasions. They shrink well and the adhesive spreads and seals well too. Great product. It would be nice to have more of the smaller tubes instead of the largest tubes as I never use the large tubes.

I picked up the Eventronic 400 Pcs Heat Shrink Tubing set to help with some home wiring repairs and DIY electronics projects, and it’s turned out to be one of the handiest kits I’ve bought this year. If you do any kind of cabling, electronics, or automotive wiring, this set is an absolute must-have. First off, the set is beautifully organised. The tubing comes in a sturdy, compartmentalised plastic box, with each size and colour separated clearly. No mess, no tangled chaos. The box itself is compact but sturdy, perfect for chucking into a toolbox or drawer without worrying about it breaking or spilling everywhere. Inside, you get a brilliant variety of sizes, ranging from very small diameters (perfect for fine electronics like drone wiring) up to larger sizes suitable for main power cables or even battery leads. All the common diameters you might need are covered, and there’s a good balance of black and coloured tubing depending on whether you want your repairs to blend in or stand out. The tubing itself is excellent quality. It shrinks down quickly and evenly with a standard heat gun, and grips the wire or connection tightly without burning, cracking, or splitting. I’ve used it to tidy up the wiring inside a PC build, repair a frayed phone cable, and secure spade connectors on a car battery, and it’s worked flawlessly every time. Shrink ratio is roughly 2:1, as advertised, and you can see the difference immediately as it moulds tightly around the wire. It leaves a smooth, professional-looking finish that not only protects the connection but also makes everything look much neater. One thing I particularly appreciate is that the tubing has a nice wall thickness after shrinking — it’s not paper-thin and fragile, but proper durable insulation that gives peace of mind on higher voltage applications. If I had to suggest anything, it would be to include slightly more of the larger diameters, as you tend to use the big ones up faster if you’re working on automotive or power projects. But that’s a very minor quibble. In short, this Eventronic kit is brilliant — great selection, great quality, and a total lifesaver for DIY repairs, electronics work, and even crafting. Highly recommended!

It is adhesive lined although it shrinks a little less than expected. I used varying widths to create a taper when fitting a voltage gauge on a motorcycle using quite fine wire soldered to spade ends where it worked quite well, the adhesive created a decent enough seal between sections so they should remain watertight. Once shrunk the sections are a little stiff but still flexible enough to move as required. Overall it's worked reasonably well and it's inexpensive compared to the higher quality options so good value really.

Great value kit, does what it says on the tin. Used a couple of pieces already and they shrink down evenly and by the quoted ratio, and the adhesive sets firm after a few minutes. I would say this kit of 90mm length pieces is better value overall rather than the 45mm one, as you can always cut a piece shorter, but can't make them longer.!

This heat shield in different sizes is very functional for different types of jobs adding greater protection for your cables good fit and well worth the money.

The actual plastic box of heat shrink sleeves arrived in a sealed shrink wrap - so I was shocked when the contents were fewer than advertised. I ended up counting the whole lot because I couldn’t believe it! Amazon gave me a refund which is why I am reviewing the product and gave the stars I gave. The sleeving itself works well and can be shrunk using a candle flame or even a hairdryer - so the product is good, it’s just a shame I was delivered a lesser amount than adver.

Excellent product

Mitt första köp av krympslang. Klippte isär efter som jag trodde slangen skulle bli för stor. Typ om skarven på laddkabeln börjar gå av. Då är ofta själva usb kontakten större och kabeln är smalare. Tog en som gick över kabeln utan att klippa isär. Sen värmde jag. Slangen anpassade sig perfekt efter kabeln. Lagat och klart. Mycket nöjd.
