Works great for MY intended use. I’m disabled and when the delivery people leave my boxes far away from my door in the winter and I have salt, ice, etc. on the deck, I can use this to reach out and slowly drag the packages to me. (By slowly I mean just 30 seconds or so per box.) Included in the box was also a hook, so I incorporated this at the end (instead of using only one or the other of the pulling pieces.) which gives me more options to pull a box towards me. (Of course by using the hook, you could damage whatever’s in the box, so be cautious when using it!) I also like the compactness when not in use. For me the “sock-like” slip on cover is useless, but I guess someone might find it useful especially if it’s stored in a grimy work truck? The only con is I think of is the pulling piece (that’s not the hook), Personally I think it should’ve been made of a heavier gauge metal or maybe they could’ve added a welded triangle fillet to it, in order to make it more robust at the apex of the bend, but I’ve dragged a few boxes that were quite heavy and it didn’t bend it at all, but I still think they should’ve done one or the other for the added strength it would provide. As for using it for its original purpose, I can’t vouch for, but for what I use it for I recommend!

Small enough to stow out of the way in the pickup. Large enough to retrieve from the front of the bed. Works GREAT. A perfect addition to the everyday tools to have in the truck. Very pleased.

Order this for my husband very helpful for getting this out of the back of your truck when they slide to the top of the truck cap. It collapses down so you can store it till you need it. He liked it so good I order 1 for my daughter when she got her a truck. Definitely buy again!

After purchasing a used car, I discovered I’m not tall enough to reach the back hatch to bring it down. I ordered this tool and it’s been a lifesaver.

Really like this for reaching into truck bed with out getting in. Comes with sharpened hook and flat bar type, for the pulling part. Would have given a 5 star, If the flat bar was reinforced or thicker, it wouldn’t bend. The tube is extendable and locks good. I like it.

Getting old sucks. This is great for my 2500hd

70mph windstorm came through that picked up a patio chair and dumped it into my pool. Chair sunk to the bottom of the deep end. It's winter. Very cold water. Nobody was diving in to get the chair. Ordered this pole. Used it with the hook attachment to hook onto the chair and drag the chair to the shallow end and pulled it out of water. Success! Money well spent on the pole. Woo-hoo! Sturdy pole. Love the two attachment options. Handy storage sleeve for the pole. I will have to find a good place to store the attachments without misplacing them.

One of the most handy tools I've ever owned. I find myself using it all the time. Great product. Very well made. I am somewhat handicapped and simply can't reach everything that I could before. This tool has helped tremendously. I use it mostly to reach things in the bed of my pickup. It's actually pretty strong given it weight. Suppose you need to buy it to try it. Works well for me.
