Great for retwisting my hair and it last long

This styling gel (twists & braids) works really well. I was a little worried when I saw that it wasn't actually buy Cantu but carries their brand... But tried it and it works wonderfully! Coming back into the natural hair arena and being at that stage where you're trying various products to accomplish multiple things It can get tiring but I found the Cantu products to work well so thought I'd try this one and I like it. Along with being a good gel for braiding and twisting, has a conditioning effect on the hair. When it comes to edge control it's okay but I find that I have to touch it up during the day at least once, so while I like it for braids and twist, when it comes to edge control I'll use it if I'm in a tight but generally I'll use another product for the edges or I'll keep it with me If it's going to be a long day so that I can do a little touch up on the edges during the day. I like that it does not weigh your hair down and it's not oily but is instead light, has a custard like feel and a little will go a long way.

I love this braiding gel! My daughter has 4c hair and this was a product I tried and loved it but I haven’t been able to find it in my local stores any more🤷🏽‍♀️. It’s not greasy, it holds, no flaking or white reside. I love it and after trying many different products over the years on her and my hair….trust me this works👩🏽‍🦱🎀💈💇🏽‍♀️✅

I previously used Jamaican and lime wax and it left build up in my locs. Wanted a jam or a gel product with good hold that would not leave any build up or white film on my locs. Just used this gel for the first time to retwist the top half of my hair and I really like it so far! I wouldn’t recommend using a ton of it. Just enough to cover the base of your roots. I’ll come back to update how long this last retwist lasts. The smell isn’t bad but not the best. Also SUPER light weight! Doesn’t feel like I’ve applied anything to my hair. Update… I’ve almost used up this container. It has lasted me months! It has easily become my favorite product to use for retwisting my locs. The hold is amazing! About to place my second order now! This price is unbeatable and the product works wonderfully! Thank you!

The only thing I use when doing locs . It’s the perfect consistency for molding the twist and doesn’t break the hair. Most of my clients have long hair. So it grows the hair. Thanks for reading 🥰

Holds my curls really well

Really hold the hair very well can go for the whole day with your hair smoothed out….as for the smell it’s smells lovely and no whit flakes when you comb your hair out at the end of the day. Will be buying more.
