Great taste, great value
Grants make some lovely canned food for campers, preppers or just the normal food cupboard. I highly recommend this haggis, the texture is nice and smooth, the preparation and cooking are easy ( I pan fry mine with bacon to crisp it up a little) and its also a perfect introduction to haggis if you've never tried it as this one isn't too heavily seasoned. A can typically gives me three or four portions and is perfect to make haggis, neeps and mashed tatties at home or camping.

Burns night can be any night of the year with tinned haggis.
Very handy to keep in your cupboard. Very tasty and highly recommended. Burns night does not have to be once a year!!

Not gluten free
Advertised as gluten free on Amazon but the information on the tins states it may contain gluten. This makes it unsuitable for coeliacs.

AVOID THIS IF YOUR ARE NOT SURE. MADE ME ILL TWICE !
SUSPECT MEAT ! I have eaten this twice now because i am vulnerable and in lock-down and wanted easily obtainable meat. TWICE it has given me stomach cramps and other pains. I see that this product type has been taken off shelves in the past due to Abdominal pains and the possibility of botulism. N. B. I have eaten fresh Haggis from my local butcher and in FRESH in Scotland with no problems. The content of these cans were cooked as suggested and piping hot.. in fact i cooked it for another minute on max power 1000 W, so i should have been okay !. I also suspect that the contents are poorly labelled so could have other things than the main ingredient lungs (Banned in USA). My advice IS AVOID if you are VULNERABLE or in any way not 100% healthy. I have disposed of other cans in because I don't want anyone suffering and getting ill like me.
