Command Clear Cord Clips, 13 Clips, 16 Strips

Works fine but just a little sidebar story. The 3M products stress making sure the surface is clean. I have used 3M Command Strip items for years, but this was the first time one of them would not stick to a smooth surface. It was the vertical edge of a computer desk, about 20 years old. It looked clean, but no joy. I scrubbed it with alcohol for couple minutes and the tissue I used was very dirty; just old age and household grime that was invisible, but present never the less. I went over it twice and the Command Strip attached perfectly and still in place about 12 inches from my right hand as I type this.

Pretty good. Did the job I asked of it - helps me keep an extension cord out of the way. The cord had some “memory” to it which made one of the clips pop off but it was the paint/plaster that failed & not the sticker. I guess I can’t complain about that. I spaced mine about a foot apart but if your cord isn’t wavy like mine you could probably go farther. I let the command strips cure on the wall unused 24 hours before putting anything on them. I do that for all command strips and 95% of mine last years (don’t know how many - more than ten for some).

Easy to use. Easy to remove

I purchased these to use to keep lamp cords orderly along baseboards. These clips have always worked very well for me in the past. The clips in this package are larger than I remember, and very adequate for keeping the electric cords in place (not big enough for computer cords). Before using them, I cleaned the baseboards as directed on the package and applied them to clean, latex-painted wood as directed, however the adhesive on the pads has not stuck well. I keep having to push them back into place. While the cord is on a baseboard in a high traffic hallway, the lamp is not jostled and the cord is not being pulled to cause the holders to come loose. I'd buy this product again, but I'd hope for better results next time.

Really good and easy-to-use cord holder. It’s easy to remove with the Command adhesive, and I like that it’s clear. The inside where the cord sits could be a little easier to clean.

I have used the Command Clips for decades now for various uses. One of which is hanging Christmas lights around a window which at my previous two apartments had done a fantastic job for many years. I have recently moved to a new apartment and ordered these to do the same here. What I received was not at all of the same quality that I have gotten in the past. Instead of the thick adhesive pad on the back of the hooks preinstalled these came with very thin pads to install yourself. This should have been a red flag immediately but as I said I have used these products for years and had faith that whatever this change was it was an improvement. The installation was difficult to say the least. The adhesive pads were difficult to install correctly and when put to the wall they didn’t seem to make as solid of a bond as in the past. I got my hooks and went to install my lights as I have before. Almost instantly did I have problems. As the hooks repeatedly started to come off the wall with no force given to them. After again really making sure they had good contact and were stuck I got the lights attached. Fast forward a couple of weeks and out of nowhere all of the hooks failed all at once with the entire strand of lights falling to the ground. I didn’t even bother trying to reattach the hooks again. The product here failed spectacularly. I have been on the lookout for the old style of the Command hooks to reattach but haven’t been able to find them. If you are looking to do basically anything with this I can’t recommend them at all. The adhesive used is not strong enough to hold the hook’s own weight for any real amount of time let alone anything else. I wish I could get a refund on these.

These small and lightweight Command Round Cord Clips are great for easily keeping phone charging and other slimmer cables organized and untangled. The fact that they are clear makes them really nice from an aesthetic perspective. But they also function very well and hold the cables effectively. In addition, because of the way these are designed, one can easily remove a cable out and put another in its place. The cord clips can also be completely removed without any damage to the wall or other place where installed because of the 3M technology that’s applied to the sticker strips. I use on the side of my night table so that I can easily reach them, as well as on my desk. As one can see from the photo, I also have the on-off switch for my bedside lamp in one of the clips; phone cords in the others. Great product. Highly recommend.

Very useful

First 4 stuck perfectly, then none of remaining. The ones that stuck initially came loose in a few days. Instructions were followed but does not seem like a good product, or perhaps I received a dud.

They worked really well. I was surprised as the cable I was working with was pretty thick.
