My dad been using this since I can remember and he still using it in his late 80s

I found this product a little too oily and much too scented for my liking. However, when I gave my hair a mild washing after applying the tonic, I found that the scent disappeared and the oiliness reduced to an acceptable level. My hair looked good and felt good. Incidently, other reviewers indicate discrepancies in the price and volume of the products they received. I paid £3-17 for 300 ml and £2-29 for p+p.

This gives a sheen and control to my depleting hair around my bald patch. It also gradually softens the hair of my beard over a period of use. No noticeable scent gives me confidence to use it. In my case a little goes a long way, just oily finger tips to distribute the oil and then frazzle up my hair to get it to every hair. I hope it will also effect the dry skin of my bald patch which I treat separately with body cream to stop me scratching it. Up to now I have been using olive oil.

I bought this for my mum, she used to love this product but cant get in shops. It is quite oily but is suits her dry hair and adds a lovely shine to her hair.

I have used vaseline petroleum since I was a little girl so now that I am older I was surprised to discover vaseline hair tonic which is great at detangerling my clean damp hair and smoothing out the ends of my hair a very good product that is also good for conditioning the scalp as well as hair. I will continue to buy and use vaseline hair and scalp tonic as well as looking forward to purchasing their vaseline hair tonic only. Delivery outstanding good as usual.

Not nice at all the smell is hideous and it’s leaves a greasy feeling generally not nice at all. Will be sending it back not worth the money at all.
