Not your typical use but, Great product!
Used this as an alternative facade for our outdoor kitchen. Wanted uniform horizontal lines to compliment the deck but was easy to maintain and could withstand the sun. It's was easy to work with once it sat in the sun a bit. It's SUPER sticky (did use some additional spray adhesive since it was goind vertical) and we love the look! UPDATE: went through its first summer and is still holding up beautifully! No fading, peeling, scuffs, stains. Its very easy to clean if we do drip anything on it.

Great product!
My husband wanted to replace the boat carpet in his 17 year boat. This decking material is awesome. It’s not perfect and we learned a lot. It looks great.

Looks great, feels great underfoot. Take the time to do the extra effort for a better outcome.
As with others reviews it does not stick to the surface as well as you would like it to. Primarily it will be an issue if the surface is not totally flat or at the ends of the material where it was rolled up. I did several rolls of different widths and lengths to make my job easier: decking on a boat. This product has the 3M adhesive label on the bottom with a waxy plastic like consistency. The adhesive on the bottom did not feel or appear to be dried out. The boat surface the EVA foam was attached to is metal. It was cleaned with soap and water and then a degreaser. The product was left unrolled and out in the heat inside a garage to acclimate. It was rolled as it was installed. The edges in a couple of places did start to lift after while. I used 3M "90" spray adhesive under those spots and put weight of all sorts on the product to force it to cure in the correct position. On the rest of the project I used the spray adhesive on the deck and bottom of the EVA foam with extra at the edges. An amusing display of weighted objects were employed, concrete blocks, wood block, tool boxes,a scrap of granite, a tackle box etc. After curing 24 hours I removed the weights, let sit another 24 hours then inspected. No bubble or lifted seams. Overall it was easy to cut and other than my amateur trimming around hatches it looks really good. One thing I did was make a template out of cardboard in areas that are beyond a straight or square and that helped a lot. Amazon boxes were used for that. Last note. Trying to draw lines on the backside of the foam was very difficult. Permanent marker, ink pen, pencil -nothing wanted to stick. Marker was the best but still faint. I used some type of straight edge whenever possible. A test trip was made. No issues seen when pulling the boat at highway speeds (65) or when pounding around on the water. I chose gray with black stripes. It feels good under your feet and is WAY cooler to the touch in 95 degree sun filled trips. I fish and soon realized that my color will show fish blood stains if you don't catch it right away. Just ask my fishing buddy. A camo color would not show that as much but I really didn't like what was offered. I hope this helps! Thickness: Thick enough to cushion feet and deaden noise. Size: different lengths and wide helped reduce waste of product and easier adaption to my floor plan,

Do you have a boat? This will be perfect. No need to look any further.
Amazing quality we use this on our John boat to go fishing in the mountains and not only did it survive the season. It still looks like the same day we put it in. I spilled liver chicken, assorted guts and it cleaned up amazing the thickness is perfect definitely recommend easy easy to cut and install.

Very sticky...looks & feels great
I installed cockpit floor and seats last season on my sailboat...held up beautifully and cleans up nicely. Just bought more to finish a few areas. Make sure to get the stuff with 3M glue. Great value.

Do not buy!!! Tint and foam comes off
If I can put 0 stars I will, we installed this on a center console 26’ boat on September 2025. We used the boat 4-5 times (from Sept to Dec 2025). Every time we store the boat we use a cover to protect from the sun and rain. By October 2025, the flooring was leaching all the grey tint from it and seems like it was disintegrating as small foam particle were being washed out when we cleaned the boat with a hose. By December, the whole flooring from the bow was destroyed and chipping off completely. The part that we glued in the stern was coming off very easily. With the tint leaching from the flooring, everything that touched it was stained from it. Horrible product!!!! Do not buy!!!!

Adhesive is not holding up
Used this on a pontoon floor, the adhesive stuck quickly and held firm for approximately a month and after a few times getting wet the adhesive released letting the flooring move and come up. The boat is covered when not being used, so it doesn't get a lot of sun or rain. It is very attractive and great feel, but not staying where it is installed is a failure. The installation was prepped with a degreaser wash and an alcohol wipe down to remove dirt and grease.
