Replacement for the old unit. The ac runs cold now. It was pretty easy to install. Cut off the ac at the breaker box. Discharge the current on the old capacitor with a screw driver across the terminals. Each terminal is labeled. Match the same wire to the same labels. Then put the rest back. Or call a professional. Did it myself for the first time, took about 5 min. Now the ac is blowing cold again.

When you A/C compressor fails to turn on, 90 percent of the time it's because this has blown. Buy one of these, turn off the power to the A/C, and instal yourself. Your local A/C guy want's $500 to swap it out, you can get one for around $25. Look at the old one and instal the wires in the same position. It will be located behind one of the access panels on your compressor.

I had a local A/C company come out and do an annual maintenance service on my A/C system . He did very little but he said my coil was bad and he could replace it for $260.00 more. The service was $99.99 coil replacement for $260.00 for a total of approximately $360.00 . I didn’t have the coil replaced by the A/C company instead I ordered this one for under $15.00 and installed the next day in under 20 min.and it was a exact replacement for rmy Goodman unit.( just about all the A/C companies use the same parts ). Turned on the unit and it has never started so strong and fast without any noise from the compressor or the fan. A few days later I talked with my brother-in-law (A/C company owner in California ). He said that this was a good reliable brand and I should change out coil and contactor every 5 to 7 yrs.as regular maintenance

Worked extremely well. My home A/C is up and running. Excellent value / cost proposition. The size was 40% smaller than the capacitor I replaced. I researched if this was an issue, it was not. My challenge was to fit a smaller capacitor in a larger bracket. I used an industrial HD wire tie to secure it to original capacitor bracket. Match the exact capacitor top marked connections (old / new) capacitors have same identical identifiers, the new capacitor is in different order than original.

Perfect capacitor for our old outside air-conditioning. We keep an extra one on hand usually just incase a storm rolls in & shuts our air down. Such a life saver in this hotter then hell Michigan temperatures currently. My husband changed it out in 10 mins

Haven't done the DIY air conditioner fix until this. Worked fine. No issues at all with the product. Saved probably $300 vs having a HVAC tech come out and do it.

Vexunga 45/5 if HVAC run capacitor. Two day delivery, would have been better if it was next day delivery, especially when your AC is having issues on, of course the hottest day ever. It replaces the super expensive multi -tap capacitor that was on my Lennox AC someone previously installed. It worked perfectly and no issues so far. Good value, best Amazon price, with all the terminal identified and colour coded .It's a 3 terminal capacitor ( Common, Herm, Fan) not like some others that has only two terminals. Happy with the purchase, hope it has a long life span. Time will tell.

My air conditioner conked out . The capacitor was deformed and not working. I guess The repairman wanted to retire wealthy , by the quoted price to repair. I have done lots of electrical work over the years and felt comfortable doing the repair myself. Be careful what you are doing , as this can be very dangerous. Discharge the old capacitor properly ,and you can do this replacement in 5 minutes. Be sure what you are doing and be safe.

I bought this capacitor after I had a service technician charge me $500 bucks to replace a defective one. I was told start here first as most times this is the first components to go. Simple enough I could change out myself and save big bucks.

The marking for the rated voltage is appears to be incorrect. Marked as 370/440V but was smaller than the 440V it was replacing and would not allow the A/C unit to operate correctly.
