A great kit for Inventors and Makers to learn about and make electric circuits. She enjoyed the challenging activities and was proud to complete them all! Definitely value for money as they can be re-used for other ideas, not just school projects. Good quality parts and environmentally friendly packaging! A great educational practical & fun gift for any occasion!

I bought this item to teach my son about electronic circuit. The product is very child friendly. My son was able to understand the closed and open circuit in a practical method. He himself experimented by connecting wires from the battery to the bulb , motor and buzzer. My son was very excited to see the bulb started to glow after connecting to the battery. He was able to understand + and - polarity. Only suggestion to the seller would be to add circuit diagram as an example - in how to connect a bulb , switch , motor and buzzer. Overall i am satisfied with the product and highly recommend this product. It's one of the best way to engage children in creativity rather than spending of IPAD's or mobile phone.

A great introduction to the basic principles of electricity and electronics for younger kids - our six-year old had mastered the basic concepts within 30 minutes and was giving demonstrations to willing (and less so) audiences before lunch-time. It's great for kindling the spark of learning and the instruction sheet comes with some simple challenges to make it a bit more interesting. The only down-side is the price - there are similar kits available for less or biggert kits available for the same price and they're probably using near-identical components. At a tenner it's a reasonable way to test the water on whether a more complex kit (Hotwires or similar) is a worthwhile investment.

Can not rate high enough. So easy for my 4yr old to understand he now readily makes circuits himself without help and asks to set new circuits up. A great learning tool. Can’t get all the mechanisms working off one AA battery, but that’s a good lesson about energy and battery power to be learnt. Really happy - we all are

This kit is made to go with the book Electric Circuits for Kids and contains all the equipment to fulfil the projects in the book. It can be used without the book and will allow children to build simple circuits and see how to construct a circuit. If used with the book it will fulfil the requirements for the projects and children will be able to build many different circuits and come to understand electric circuits and how they work.

Fab starter kit for electric circuit learning. There are 8 challenges to complete so as with any science project you will need to work out yourself how the different components will fit together. I found this fairly easy with all challenges complete in one evening. Certainly worth the money as my son continues to use it despite completing the challenges. Now looking to add to the kit.

Firstly, the little turbine was missing from our kit, so can only comment on the rest of the kit. My little boy (4) absolutely loves this, building different circuits and see what he can create. The light comes with a spare bulb and The buzzer is loud which he loves! I think for the price it would be good to have a few additional components, but these are easily bought elsewhere depending on the bits the child likes the most. The clips on the wires are fairly stiff though, so not ideal as a Montessori based toy as I had hoped as it means I end up having to clip the wires onto the bulb etc!

Great way of introducing kids to electronics. It would have been nice if more of the wires were exposed and a bit thicker so that the crocodile clips bit perfectly.
