Solid Gold Dog & Cat Multivitamin Powder, Omega 3 & Kelp, Skin & Coat, 5oz

I’ve been feeding this supplement to my 5-year-old Mastiff mix, Fiona, since she was a puppy after it was recommended by a salesperson at a local pet food store. I sprinkle a teaspoon over her food twice a day. It does have a fishy smell, but my dogs seem to love it because it adds flavor to their kibble/wet food/brown rice combo they eat. I’m glad I listened to that recommendation because Fiona is constantly complimented on her shiny black coat. I’m now giving the same supplement to my Cane Corso puppy, Faith, and her black brindle coat is beautifully shiny as well. Beyond their coats, both of my dogs have been very healthy overall, and I do give some credit to this supplement for supporting their health. One thing to note: the 5 lb container no longer seems to come with the convenient teaspoon scoop, or at least mine didn’t. I was a little disappointed because I would have saved the scoop from the smaller container if I had known. So if you buy a smaller size first, keep the scoop.

I got this because my senior cat started getting flaky skin above his tail. He turned his nose up to salmon oil so I crossed my fingers with this. I started him on a low dose (because he’s picky) but still in just 2 weeks he no longer has flakes, he’s not shedding nearly as much, and his coat feels softer and looks shinier! Jury is still out, but I think it’s also helping his chronic feline acne (and no, we don’t use plastic bowls, etc!)

I give my dogs a lot of supplements. You can't really tell if some help or hinder. This is one that seems to be a huge benefit. My Cavalier has a problem where the nerves are failing the back legs. This stuff is very beneficial. I have slowly upped the dosage to double the recommenced amount. The benefits are surprising and she is actually. getting stronger and more energetic. Her rapid decline has regressed and the decline has halted. Sounds awkward but both are important and true. I love my dog and my wife adores her. She is also exceptionally important to our new puppy. The puppy may be infusing a lot of life into th old gal but the Seameal is clearly helping too. I might add that the SeaMeal is a ground up like pepper sized thing. Yu just dump it into th bowl with a little scoop. The dogs lick up evey bit of it. They love it. The jar goes a long way. Is it worth using... I am convinced. I met the old lady, out in El Cajon Calif years ago, who invented this stuff. I think she eats it too. lol

Sprinkle this on my cat's food (15 yrs old) to help her digestion and kitten food to give them a good start in life. Everyone seems to like it.

Easy to administer an tiny amount and mix into wet food. Both cat and dog are under 13lbs & eat it just fine. No yucky smell either. The spoon is hard to get back into package.

I'm not sure this ever really worked? I've been using for months now with both my German shepherd dog and our cats, but everyone still sheds and itches? Also, my senior cat started getting horrible gingivitis and stinky breath all of a sudden? Sorry guys, but going to switch to something else? They do seem to like the flavor and eat it mixed in with their kibble and bowel movement appear normal, so 3 stars for that.

This is a superb product promoting excellent health and shiny costs for our border collies.

I love this product. It works great. But Iherb sells the same products way cheaper. so that's why -1.

I bought this product for my bitch who lost a lot of hair during pregnancy and after whelping she lost more hair, she was completely bald under her belly and at the front of her neck and was losing a lot of hair behind her shoulders and her tail. She came out in a skin rash and the vet said her immune system was low and she had completely lost all her undercoat. In just ONE WEEK of using this product she had a layer of hair on her tummy and round her neck and tail and her undercoat was already starting to grow - before this she had been without hair for 4 months and I was shampooing her with medicated shampoo every three days.
