This magnetic mesh screen door is exactly what I needed for summer. I installed it on our back patio in under 10 minutes (no tools needed), and the instructions were super clear. The adhesive held up well even with the temp swings we’ve had lately.What really impressed me is how well the magnets snap shut on their own — every time. I’ve walked through it with hands full of groceries, and it seals right behind me. No gaps, no bugs. Even our dog figured it out in a day.The mesh is durable but not stiff, and it still lets in plenty of light and airflow. After a week of use, there are no tears, no sagging, and the Velcro is still sticking strong.Tip: Make sure the frame is clean before applying the adhesive — it’ll stay put much longer.If you’re tired of flies, mosquitoes, or just want a breeze without the hassle, this is a total win. I’d buy it again in a heartbeat.

Being somewhat of an expert on these things since our dogs regularly destroy them after a season or two, I have to say (for now) this particular version appears to be much better constructed than any other we’ve owned. Supe wide Velcro along the top, heavy duty construction and super sticky tape all the way around. The magnets are also sewn into the split like most are these days but the stitching appears to be very rugged and secure.The material itself is also much “heavier” than any of the others I’ve tried but one, and that manufacturer appears to be “no more.” That version lasted at least three years with our hellions, so I’m hopeful this one will as well.I reserve the right to re-evaluate but I’d say if you’re considering a magnetic mesh screen for your porch or backyard door, get it. The only thing I’d recommend with any of them is to anchor the top center, right and left (top and bottom) with small wood screws if you have animals going in and out. The little tacks are nice (and I use those too), but they’ll rip right out after a few frantic attempts to capture squirrels…

I've been buying one or two of these a year for years now. I have two dogs over 100 lbs and these generally get torn up by the end of the nice seasons. This one is still new but the thickness of the screen is great and the width of the Velcro is so much wider than all the others that I have purchased so I feel like it'll stay up even better than the others. This time I purchased the taller option so that the opening is higher since my husband and I are both over 6 ft tall and don't care for less head space when going thru the door.

We bought this screen so our cats could go out into a catio on our deck. The product seems to be very good quality and was quick and easy to install. Our cats have figured out how to go through it just fine, though it took a few tries. I did need to re-position a short stretch of the sticky hook & loop tape on the door frame right after installing, and unfortunately, it ripped the paint right off. When the screen needs to eventually be removed, we will have to figure out a way to color match the paint and touch up the frame all the way around it. The tape needs to be pretty sticky to have any longevity, but it's a big bummer to have to paint the door frame.

Works better than the external magnet type you will find at various dollar type stores. Keeps closed without any adjustment. Soft half of the Velcro is attached to the complete edge of the screen so all you need to do is attach the stiff half of the Velcro (it’s included) to your door frame edge. Works well for us and this is the second one we’ve had. Misplaced the first on over the winter season but it worked so well it was a no-brainer to buy again.

These magnetic screens are phenomenal if you have kids and dogs. I love that it gives Them the ease to come and go outside and I don’t have to worry about all the bugs making their way indoors. They are made of a thick, durable material and the magnetic safe incredibly strong and click back together instantly. My puppy has jumped up on them with her super sharp puppy claws and it didn’t even make the slightest tear! I would recommend taking them down during the winter to aid in longevity. The sticky Velcro provided is very strong and the additional tacks are excellent ensure they are securely fasted to the door frame.

It was good for about 24 hours until my dog scratched it the first time. I bought it because I thought the material was going to be more scratch resistant. The dog has recently clipped nails too. Otherwise this fits the door frame really well, better than a different type I used for about a year, and I can see through this one better. Overall I like it more, I'm just disappointed there's already a scratch hole in it.
