Wild Hibiscus Flower 50 Hibiscus Flower Goblets in Syrup 1.1 kg

I will admit now I love these things. I first found them on Firebox several years ago, but they can end up expensive. However the larger jar works out at an incredible value. I use them in sparkling wines/champagnes, white or rose, and they are great for the really dry bubblies just to take the edge off. They do not sweeten the wine a great deal, just a hint, which I find perfect. Plus I really love eating the flower when I finish my glass! I generally use 1 flower and 1 teaspoon of syrup per glass (and this lasts a refill or 2), and find that seems to keep the syrup level equal with the flowers by the end of the jar. I found there are 2 ways to use this in bubblies (I have never used them for anything else, food or drink). You can either place the items after pouring the wine, or before, and there are pros and cons for both. 1) Before pouring: Pro - the syrup blends perfectly with the wine Con - the syrup will last maybe 1 more refill - usually only half a refill before you feel you need more syrup Con - you have to pour the wine very slowly, more slowly than normal for bubblies, as the syrup reacts with the bubbles to create extra! 2) After pouring: Pro - Standard wine pouring time Pro - syrup usually lasts 1-2 more refills Con - the syrup doesn't blend well with the wine the first glass, giving it a very tiny hint of the hibiscus usually from the teaspoon as you gently place the flower and syrup into the wine I find this great when having guests over, and brilliant for things like Christmas dinner, just to make it that bit different.

I’ve been buying these for years! Lovely with Prosecco, feels like such a treat, especially whilst stuck in doors during the lockdown. I usually buy a small jar but I went for a bigger jar this time, it’s much better value for money and keeps well in the fridge! Oh and they’re super delicious! Tastes a bit like rhubarb, so yummy at the end of your glass with a mouthful of bubbles!

I was dreaming about to buy it for very long time , but was no reason. And then when we started planning our big wedding day, I decided that hibiscus with champagne is a must have. So delivery was very fast and extremely well pack (big box with small box inside surrounded by a lot of paper.and plastic little protectors inside small box as well around glass jar). Can't tell now about the taste anything , but I think it must be awsome!!

I first met these at a wedding and thought it was such a novel and interesting idea that I got some for a birthday party. Take a champagne flute, pop a flower in the bottom - tricky to get it the right way up - then add a spoonful of the (very sticky!) syrup and fill the glass with champagne. It gives a lovely deep rose colour to the drink and a slightly sweeter flavour - so maybe not for people who like their champers dry. Overall, a great talking point/icebreaker, just losing a star because of the high price. ETA - returned a few years later to buy more and see they now cost a ridiculous £38.99! Go to drinksupermarket instead and save loads.

Ich liebe gute Getränke in schönen Gläsern. So eine Hibiskusblüten in einem schönen Glas mit dem passenden Getränk dazu ist das i Tüpfelchen. Die Blüten sind schön groß und sehen toll aus. Der Sirup in dem die Blüten aufbewahrt werden, ist auch lecker. Diesen kann man auch gut in einen Sekt geben. Die Blüten esse ich auch. Bisher waren alle lecker. Nach Lieferung waren meine Blüten knapp drei Jahre haltbar. Das ist super. Wobei sie bei mir nicht lange halten. Denn auch die Kinder lieben sie in einem alkoholfreien Cocktail. Die Qualität ist spitze. Hier kann man beruhigt zugreifen. Klare Kaufempfehlung.

We buy these to make hibiscus margaritas at our bar. They always arrive in one piece. They wrap them in a bubble sleeve. We’ve bought them many times and they’ve never leaked. This is a great quality product with a top notch taste.

Super, hübsch im Glas wertet jedes Event auf. Sehr lecker und schick. Hatte sie sehr teuer im Feinkostladen entdeckt mit 12 Blüten drin und hab mich über die große Menge und den Preis für unsere Hochzeit sehr gefreut.
