Great New Lipstick
I tried this lipstick as it was on a great deal .It arrived quickly , was packaged well and presents nicely . The lipstick has a nice feel to it , not drying or sticky. The color is beautiful , nice shimmer but not glittery. It arrived in the evening so I tried it and was surprised it was still noticeable in the morning , good staying power . I can’t wait to order this shade again and try a few other shades . I’m watching those deals :)

Cosmopolis colour is what you make of it
This review is only for the lipstick colour "Cosmopolis" from Oulac. This might be one of those "what was I thinking" type of purchases, but I'm not going to exactly rule it out. Pictured, is the product on me, with a complementing lip liner from Lise Watier, and colourless primer from MAC. The colour of Cosmopolis is what you see in the photo, in natural lighting. I found it to be a bit too noticeable for my taste, as I am the type of person who plays up my eyes in makeup, not my lips. After dabbing/blotting and removing most of the product, I applied the lip gloss, Nude Love from Oulac, and found that pairing (not pictured) to be quite pretty. (I did not attach a photo of the Nude Love finish as I do not want that to interfere with the focus on what Cosmopolis actually looks like as a stand-alone colour.)

Lip Enhancer
I really like this lipstick. I am in my sixties, and this lipstick revived my lips. I truly makes my lips appear younger and fuller. Also, the color is just beautiful.

It's actually a really beautiful lipstick BUT buyer beware... it's made in China!! So is it safe??
I have one rule about cosmetics: I won't buy anything that's made in China. China does NOT have the same strict standards that North America and Europe do, and so even though a lot of cosmetics made there look very appealing, I don't trust that they are safe to use. Had I known that this lipstick was made in China, I would have never bought it -- especially for the high $13 price tag!! Which was part of how it duped me: Lipstick made in China is usually only a couple of dollars, the low price is a giveaway for where it's made. But at THIS price, it never even occurred to me that it might be made in China. It doesn't say that anywhere in the listing, and it certainly looks high end enough. So buyer beware: Yes, it's a pretty lipstick, but I have doubts that it's safe. Since I paid for it, I did test it so I could leave my review, and it actually lasts quite well for something that's not meant to be long lasting -- I got 3 hours of wear out of it (no eating or drinking though) and it wore in a very nice way, it didn't look like my lipstick was falling off, the colour just faded evenly. It wasn't drying, my lips didn't peel or get crumbly, it went on smoothly, and didn't get on my teeth; I feel as if some lipsticks are just way more prone to teeth transfer for some reason. The colour Cosmopolis is pretty, maybe not QUITE the same colour as in the picture, but really lovely, and yes, metallic. It also didn't have a taste or smell, which was nice. And the shiny solid gold bullet is gorgeous sitting out on my vanity. If you don't care whether your cosmetics may not be safe to use, or you're willing to take the risk, then you'll love this lipstick. But I can't in all good conscience recommend it to others because of where it's made. Also a PSA as I was surprised how many people don't know this: What it says on the box is "Made in P.R.C." -- P.R.C. stands for People's Republic of China. Using P.R.C. instead of just saying China is a marketing tactic because they know that their quality standards are not up to par, and that ignorant buyers often don't even know that "Made in P.R.C." and "Made in China" are exactly the same thing.

Good Color
Lipstick goes on well, but doesn't last. After awhile it feels like it is drying out on you lips. The color is great, but just doesn't last.
