These fit me perfectly. I'm 5'7" 140lbs and fit build. As far as waist belt padding, these cross over my hips with enough adjustment room for winter or summer clothing. But I can't imagine a much taller, wider person fitting in these very well. They are adjustable, but legs and shoulders (torso) are linked. So only so much adjustment there. If these came in US sizing I'd call these mediums or possibly even medium smalls. Can a larger person fit in these? Absolutely. But if correctly donning a full-body harness the waist padding should cover the hip bones. I imagine that wouldn't be the case. And crouching down would not be a great experience either. With that said, for the price these are incredible. Well constructed. All hardware rated to 5,000 lbs | 22 kN. AND they include a shock-absorbing Y lanyard?! Personally, I use the two hip D rings for work positioning. But as most only utilize the dorsal fall arrest D ring this is still a deal. I do recommend adding some shoulder padding though. The webbing around the neck can chaff if moving around in them. I def wouldn't want to fall or hang in these. That would be severely uncomfortable. Especially as we all usually wear them loosely. But at least we won't fall to the ground. Light weight, ridiculously inexpensive, easy on/easy off, and compactable. Super pleased with these.

While I have not tried it on and did find it kind of a puzzle but I like puzzles. The harness is well made and think it will keep me on my 7 pitch roof to shingle around new window installed last week. Cedar shingling is easy to do but it’s hot on a seven pitch roof standing and trying to manipulate planes and nail guns, etc. I’m 82 years old and so I ended up deciding to put this harness to work with an extension rope that I also purchased from Amazon so it’s all put together right now and I wanna show you pictures of the harness so don’t get too complicated or ski when you look at it what I did was a boss a boss still basically would’ve back to it and I hung the safety harness on this on the back of the barstool, I was able to see how the cables how they connect us the connectors not cables go together. It looks very simple to put on so I’ll let you know if I fall off the roof. Good luck with your ideas on working at 82 years old, but I don’t look 82. I don’t feel 82 I look more like 65 or 70 so I got good health. Get a lot of looks from good looking women. God bless good health to you.

I have very tall huge trees in my backyard and I needed to trim it and cut the branches down. But they are too high, making it dangerous. I bought these for my son so he can trim the branches safely. The straps are durable and strong. The clasps are are metal and durable. I chose this one because it costed a bit less than others. I was afraid the quality may not be good.... but I found that I was wrong! This safety harness is actually very good quality. The only thing is that the size might not fit everyone well. It is adjustable around and where the legs are, but it didn't fit perfect in my son. Yet, it still worked and he got the job done!

Just used this and it worked great for roof repair work. Lanyard is of good quality as well

Not your typical high dollar full body harness but does the job when climbing trees. When use correctly, it will help in preventing a fall from heights. I use it all the time when I climb the trees in my backyard pine, oak, walnut, and sugar maple that are 50 plus in height.

im 6'5 260 pounds. I ended up buying this "universal fit" harness because it comes with a shock absorber and it was cheaper then buying the absorber alone. I hoped maybe I will fit and it will cover all my needs. It was not meant for larger people. This is a good value for average/smaller fit people but ended up buying harness that allows you to pick size and its was a lot nicer and actually fit me but was $80 ish, so it coast twice as much with no absorber. So to summarize if your smaller and not wearing all day every day its a great value but I'm happier with my larger one

Better than my harness that cost 3x as much

Used it as a safety measure when cleaning my rooftop. To be honest I have no idea if this works well or not because I haven't had a fall yet but it makes me feel safe while up there.

I’ve used this harness twice so far to climb on my roof, and I’m very impressed with it. The build quality is outstanding, from the straps to the hooks and brackets. Everything feels sturdy and secure, which gave me a lot of confidence while using it. Considering the quality and the price, I think it’s absolutely worth buying. I’m very happy with this purchase.

Climbed my roof with this harness and it's pretty solid, well made, feels safe.

I would have given the unit 5 stars but took a star off because sometimes the carabiners didn't close properly.The "tongue" would rest on the edge of the slot and not fall neatly into it. But it's a rule-of-thumb to always check a carabiner has closed so ... no big deal. Likes Seems a strong, well made unit. Good value compared to similar units. Dislikes It's rather heavy. In the pic I've included some of my DIY tree-climbing kit that I'm quite proud of and which I still use in conjunction with the harness.

Works fantastic, great quality as well. Works wonders for the work place.
