Will this keep jewelry tarnish free?

I don't think there is a jewelry box that will prevent 100% of tarnish but I have some silver cuff bracelets in my box and it seems to have slowed the tarnish from happening quickly. So, while it won't prevent it, it does slow it.

How did you guys gift this? Did you take it out of the box or did you wrap the box with wrapping paper?

I purchased this for myself. However, if you are gifting it I would leave it in the box and wrap it. It is pretty tight fitting in the box and I think it would be easier to gift it that way.

Does it come in a box or is it shipped bare with styrofoam and bubble wrap?

This jewelry box is package extremely well. First, packing material surrounds the jewelry box, then a type of sturdy styrofoam to protect corners then placed in a plastic bag and a sturdy cardboard box. I give it a thumbs up.
