Weighted Blanket (7lbs, 40"x 60", Grey) Heavy Blanket for 60-80lbs, Weighted Blanket for Cooling & Heating with Premium Glass Beads, Thick Blanket All-Season

As a kid I recall sleeping under heavy weight futon, that essentially kept me from rolling around, though as I needed to get out from under periodically, this good idea of a comforter long in coming, is a purchase that has proven a good choice for me. I got the Full/Queen size which is the right size to allow for hang over on the sides, again at least for me, the keep the warmth in and the covers from sliding off. Now, that said, I shake the edges off the comforter so the beads move as much back to the center to maintain ideal spread. While not under the covers I pull up the hanging sides to keep the beads from moving through each section panel. Right now is the perfect time to experience the body warmth reflected back onto me while under the covers, I'll have to see how this works in the warmer months. I recommend a duvet, which I haven't gotten yet, as there appears to have been oil/grease on the comforter when I removed it from packaging and do not want additional staining. I've noticed that once back under covers, I do fall back asleep quicker than before, like finding the comforting place. Now as a 65-yr old male who sleeps alone, I got the 20-lb comforter, and it is heavy. I think most individuals would do well with the 15-lb, however, when sharing this a heavier weight could be ok. One has to be mindful of movement under the weighted cover and how manageable or the difficulty of it could be to get out from under quickly in case of late-night bathroom consideration or god forbid, an emergency with in your home. These are aspects worthy of consideration. I've had mine since late NOV 2018 and it took me 2-wks to know how I need to move around under the cover and what's my best method of exit from under. Again most should not have an issue, but rather than freak-out once you get it and had not considered it, please consider this prior to purchase. I can say this candidly, if I had to, I'd buy another one for myself, it cheaper than the down comforters, for me though again, I'll have to see how the glass beads handle my body heat in the warmer months, it may be about switching it out for the lighter down comforter which is now sitting in the closet - alone, till called on. Hope this review gives anyone considering this purchase some feedback to help you off the fence if you're likely to go for a comforter that provides the kind of comfort it does to encourage faster, perhaps a deeper sleep, but an ease of sleep once you return from a journey out from under the cover.

**EditedI** I got the darker grey 48 x 72, 12 pound weighted blanket. I originally got the 15 pound, but it was just a bit too heavy for me, so went down to the 12 pound. I believe it’s supposed to be a full size. I have a queen mattress and was not looking for this to be a comforter, or blanket to cover the whole bed! I just wanted a reasonably priced weighted blanket to use when I feel anxious. Weighted blankets are great for alleviating anxiety for adults and children if you are lucky enough to be at home when anxiety hits! It has helped me so much when at home! I mostly use it at night when It’s time for winding down for bed, or early morning if I’m anxious before starting the day. It has been perfect. The texture is soft and comforting. It’s not too thick and doesn’t make me too warm when using it, but again, I don’t layer it with my comforter or other blankets for warmth and don’t sleep with it on me all night like my usual comforter/bedding. I specifically use it for the weight (12 pounds) to calm my nervous system. If you are an adult getting this for the same reason I did, I would start with the 12 or 15 pound, and see if it’s enough weight for you, if it’s not enough weight then try the heavier weighted blankets! For me personally, if a weighted blanket is too heavy it feels suffocating, so I don’t like it too heavy! If you weigh more, than you might need a heavier blanket, just look at what the suggestions are for people at different weights! Obviously children would need lighter than the 12 pounds I bought! Also for children, I would consult with an occupational therapist/medical professional who is an expert on this topic! There is also a lot of research/info online that can help with what weight to get for all different sizes of children and adults. Hope this helps someone! Btw I got this for a great price in this specific color (some of the other colors were significantly more $), and I feel like just in the short time I’ve had it I’ve already gotten my money’s worth! **Edit-10/28/25-Still loving it and using it regularly! I did get a weighted blanket cover/duvet that ties to all the loops around the blanket (the loops on blanket and ties on duvet keep weighted blanket secure inside of the duvet without a lot of shifting) so that I can easily wash-I wouldn’t put the actual weighted blanket in the washing machine so the reasonably priced, soft duvet cover is perfect! Overall: I am 6’7” and 250 lbs, and this blanket is heavy enough for me while (with the cooling sheet) still being cool enough to be comfortable during these summer months. The material of each blanket is soft enough that it doesn’t set off my tactile or fibro. Yes, I have gotten better sleep because of it, and you can’t really beat the price for this size and weight. Critiques: The cooling sheet looks much like a sheet (it’s not very attractive) but is silky soft, and the warm sheet is gorgeous and squishy soft. Both sheets are like a sleeping bag that you put the weighted blanket into and zip up (there are ties on the inside that can help keep the blanket in place inside the sheet). The size is technically queen, but don’t expect any extra material on the sides. Things to expect: The first couple nights were rough as I adjusted to the blanket. I tend to toss and turn in bed, and this really doesn’t let you do that. The other thing was that I was not expecting was a day or two of joint pain from the pressure of the weighted blanket. These are both temporary things and go away after the first night or three as your body gets used to the weight, stops turning, and positions your joints more favorably. Other than that, I have been waking up feeling more rested and refreshed. I love it and highly recommend it.

I purchased this from my nephew who is nine years old. He wanted a weighted blanket and he wanted a 10 pound weighted blanket. He said it’s perfect, he really liked the color because it matched his room, we got him the blue, and he loves the weight of the blanket. He’s promised to call me back and let me know if he sleeps better because of it. His mom said it seems very well made, and was the perfect gift for him.

Having read other reviews, good and bad, before purchasing this weighted blanket. I want to respond to some of the unfounded, and often ridiculous, criticism: 1. It’s too small for my bed. This blanket is just that: a blanket! It’s not a comforter, duvet, or bedspread. It’s a blanket. It’s supposed to fit within the corners of the top of your mattress, not drape down the sides or foot of your bed. I bought the Queen bed size blanket. It fits the top of my Queen sized mattress perfectly. 2. It’s too hot. Again, it’s a blanket. It is used for retaining body warmth. It’s supposed to keep you warm. I have little sympathy for people who complain that it is too hot. Don’t you know what a blanket is? It’s cold where I live (at the moment it’s -20 degrees below zero at 10pm. Two days ago it was -40 degrees below zero!) I wanted this blanket for warmth, as well as weight. I typically only need my AC on for about four weeks in the summer. And I like to sleep in a cold bedroom. keep my room at 55 degrees year round. This blanket provides ideal warmth. 3 The weight is uneven. The weight of this blanket is perfectly even. It is a quilted blanket, and each quilted section holds in place the layer of glass bead webbing which gives the blanket is mailable weight. This blanket is ideal. The outer fabric is soft. It’s the perfect amount of heavy. I was worried that the 20 lbs model I got was not going to be heavy enough, but it is just right. And it’s warm and comfortable. I’m completely satisfied with it. I highly recommend it.

Really comfy, and helps with my anxiety and inflammation. However, one week after the return window closed, I found a ton of little glass beads in my bed. I’m extremely glad my husband or I didn’t inhale them! Anyway, the material is soft and smooth. I don’t have great upper body strength, so moving it from room to room is interesting lol.

My Gf's daughter has night terrors due to the abuse she receives from her father. I purchased this in hopes it would help her sleep better, and it has worked like a charm. It's nice and thick yet breathable, and she loves the color of it as it matches the theme of her room. Very versatile blanket as far as being used as a sleeping blanket, or a comfort blanket for when she gets back from her fathers house. Very easy for her to get used to, and now she doesn't sleep without it. This blanket has helped a 5yr old finally get through a night of sleep.

25 pound blanket is excellent for 2 people .but be careful when making the bed.lololol it is heavy 😆😆😆😆 bought as a bday gift for wife. She loves it. Case closed lol😉

this product is not as advertised. It is not a weighted blacnket, nor is it a cover for a weighted blanket. it is a slim blanket out of poly fabric with no beads internally as advertised.

I ordered the king size as I have a king bed. I could have gone smaller. It’s too long for my bed. Measure your mattress before you buy
