Salt & Stone Aluminum-Free Deodorant for Women & Men, Neroli & Basil 2.6 oz

I’ve been using Salt & Stone deodorant for about 4 years, and it’s still one of my favorites! I love the Neroli & Basil scent—it smells fresh, clean, and amazing without being overpowering. The deodorant is the perfect size for tossing in a bag, and it glides on smoothly without feeling sticky or leaving marks on my clothes. It provides great odor protection, and I appreciate the 48-hour protection claim. I typically reapply 4–5 times throughout the day, especially on workout days, so I love having something that goes on easily and feels comfortable. It is definitely on the more expensive side for deodorant, but after using it for years, I personally think the quality is worth the price. A long-time favorite that I keep coming back to!

I have bought the Saffron & Cedar deodorant so many times. I love it. I suffer from really bad allergic reactions to most deodorants, but the Salt & Stone deodorants do not irritate my skin at all. The Saffron & Cedar scent is clean, warm, and a little sophisticated without being overpowering. It goes on smoothly and doesn’t leave me feeling sticky or uncomfortable. I obviously also love that it’s aluminum-free but still does a great job keeping me feeling fresh throughout the day. I will continue to be repurchasing it.

I have been searching for aluminum free deodorant for years now. I’ve tried every kind under the sun and nothing has worked. Until I found this brand! Holy wow! This deodorant not only works great but it also leaves you smelling fantastic all day long! I’m obsessed. It may be pricy but it’s worth it! I’ll be buying again in a different scent next time so I can try another 😊

Look this is a nice deoderant but I was under the impression it didn’t contain parfume (synthetic fragrance) that’s why I spent the big bucks on this one. The saffron sent is nice but for me it’s overwhelming to have it stick on well after a scrub in the shower. I thought natural product meant natural frangrence but looks like I was wrong. A little disappointed but other than that it goes on smooth. It would be perfect if they added natural fragrance instead, i would keep buying if so.

Update: I have adjusted to the scent and no longer get a headache, but I do still believe that this scent is a little too masculine for me. It seems to last all day and I haven’t noticed being stinky. It is not an anti-perspirant so I still sweat, but this is not unexpected. The one new thing that I have noticed is that this deodorant leaves greasy marks on my clothes, especially when I am wearing more snug fitting items. This is pretty frustrating because now in addition to sweat marks under my arms on sweaty days, I have greasy deodorant marks that are visible through my clothes even on cool days where I’m not sweating. I don’t think I will be buying this again due to the marks on my clothes. Original review: Not sure how to rate this. I tried out all of the scents in person at Sephora and decided I liked the bergamot and hook and the rose and oud the best. I put one on each arm and wandered around a bit and liked the freshness of the bergamot better than the floral rose. I ordered it here and tried it on right away, but the scent was a little too strong and gave me a headache. I also felt like it smelled a little masculine. I’m not sure what happened other than the application at Sephora was lighter than I used at home. I’m going to try wearing it tomorrow to see how it lasts and whether I can stand it, but it may be a no go for me.

I'm already on my third purchase: two santal and one azafran 111and they're all amazing. The scent has something elegant and good at the same time. The santal is warm, with a woody base and a slightly earthy touch that gives it character; the bergamot is fresher and citrusy, but just as sophisticated. Neither one is a scent that announces itself, they're the kind people notice when they're close and can't quite place what it is... but they like it. The texture genuinely surprised me. It doesn't leave a single white mark (I checked ten minutes after applying, nothing). Plus it's so hydrating that my underarms end up feeling better cared for than with a lot of body lotions I've tried. What convinced me the most was how long it lasts: 48 hours without reapplying. I'd never had that happen with an aluminum-free deodorant, I'm usually reapplying by mid-afternoon just in case. With this one, I shower, put it on, and forget about it for the rest of the day. There's also something kind of mental about using it: it's not just knowing you don't smell bad, it's feeling like you smell good, with that quiet confidence that doesn't need constant checking. The packaging, on top of everything, is a detail I didn't expect to enjoy so much. It looks refined, elegant. I was going to try a bunch of different deodorant options but I've gotten STUCK on this one. The scent is clean and natural with the perfect touch of rose and slight wood/earthy vibes. It is noticeable enough to make it enjoyable to use and give you confidence if anyone is near your pits, but not overwhelming or perfume-heavy. Definitely a much more sophisticated, romantic scent than your run of the mill fresh clean options. The texture is smooth and easy to apply, I don't need to press hard or warm it up first and it goes on super even it's more like a lotion/oil vibe than traditional deodorant so there's no weird clumpy parts or chunks and once it's on it's not visible or white (see photo of about 10 min after putting it on). It's comfortable and light on my skin and it's actually really moisturizing so it leaves my armpits nice! I also like that it does not have that overly sticky feeling that some aluminum-free deodorants can have. I usually reapply after I shower, and I have not felt like I needed to keep reapplying throughout the day ever. It has worked well for me up to 48 hours, which I've never really had with an aluminum-free or other natural deodorant before. I just have felt like I'm not only confident when I'm out I don't stink I'm confident I smell good and slightly sexy ha! Love the packaging, not that it reallyyyyy matters too much but it's really cute and aesthetically pleasing with a more high-end lux look, fits in my travel bag well and I can leave it out on the counter and it just blends in. Overall, if you're looking for an aluminum-free deodorant with a light, high-end scent, that applies smoothly, is friendly on your skin, and actually lasts I'd recommend this to anyone!

I have enjoyed this brand of product for several months now. They are not antiperspirant so you will still sweat if you are a heavy sweater, however is works pretty well at masking odor. I have not had any trouble with the product leaving residue on my shirt but it does smear in a greasy way if you over extended it. I wasn't expecting the travel size to be 1 oz but I probably should have known. Definitely over priced for the amount you are getting but that is the price of convenience, the 24 oz is $20.

Not working I didn’t like it

Very effective is eco friendly doesn’t burn if I apply straight after shaved. Very easy apply and the fresh smell is wonderful all day long. Is slightly pricey but you get quality product.
