Using a military map protractor is an everyday thing for me. So, when i ordered this protractor, I kept an open mind, as past protractors didn’t quite meet my expectations. Don’t get me wrong, they still did the job just fine, but for me, it’s the little things. The quality and build of this protractor has surpassed my expectations. For starters, the plastic material is a lot thicker and sturdier. It’s not flimsy and doesn’t feel cheap. Next, the numbers are clear and precise. No excess material or anything like that. The back azimuths in red are also a nice touch. Overall, I’d say this protractor is worth its price. I would definitely purchase it again as well as recommend it to others.

Map protractor handy, useful with too maps

Just want I needed and expected.

This is the close and true to form to the Army issue. A little less durable, but is perfect for civilian application.

I bought this in order to learn land navigation, I have not yet had the opportunity to obtain an appropriate map or book for proper instruction. However, I have been assured that this one of the correct tools for the job.
