Excellent quality and works perfectly with standard crafting blades
These surgical handles take me back to the 1990s in my college/ graphic studio days - when my coveted Swan Morton handle and collection of blades saw me through right until my first job where desktop publishing took over!I've still got my old handle, and a selection of various SM blades, and use them frequently for DIY and crafting, and these handles make a great addition to the set for use by my daughter who is also getting 'crafty'.The quality is excellent. Not as good as my SM, but good nonetheless. Unlike other reviewers, I had no issues with the moulding and getting blades in/ out, and I find these in operation equally as good as the SM.Great product, great price (Just under £6 at the time of review) which for 3 handles is less than the cost of a single SM handle!Thumbs-up!

OK
These are obviously not Swan Moreton handles and although they are reasonable quality and hold the blade securely, there are some compromises. Overall the finish isn't as good and one of three required some minor remedial work with a file to improve the blade holding. The other two were OK and didn't need anything doing. For the price, no complaints and I'm happy

Very disappointed.
They do not work. Very disappointed. They are. too thick to use with my size 15 scalpels. They are are useless to me.

They fit a Swan Morton blade.
3 In a pack for the price of a genuine Swan Morton you say?OK then bring it I thought. These are stainless steel I dropped one in some pretty harsh acid to test them and yeah they pass muster there. They are heavier than a regular or slimline Swan Morton handle and they have sharper corners and a strangely unfinished quality to the edges but the balance is good when used with a S/M number 11 blade and used for cutting frisket when I airbrush. They are not quite as comfortable in the hand as a Swan Morton handle but it's not bad for the price. They also sit heavier in the hand during use and I personally find this helpful for cutting the mask without hitting the substrate, So that's a plus in my book.Over all I am perfectly happy with these cheap and cheerful scalpel bodies.
