We used them to cook hotdogs over an open fire and to roast marshmallows for s’mores. They couldn’t have been more appropriate. On a scale of 1 to 10 they were a 12!

My grandchildren visit me periodically at my off grid cabin in the wilds of N. Idaho. One of our traditions is to make s'mores over an open fire. For years, I've cut green sticks for that purpose just like I did for my children. I decided I wanted something more stable so I selected these.I like the tip protectors. These are sharp but stay safe in the included bag by putting the tips back on.They extend with plenty of length to reach across the fire to find the best coals to roast their marshmallows.I was afraid the smooth surface would result in the marshmallows sliding off but not the case. They hold well.They work great for hot dogs. Much better than a cut stick which bows under the weight.I like the individually colored handles. The kids keep track of "their" stick.Clean up is easy. Soap and hot water and they're like new. Cleaning is not an activity for little children since they are very sharp.They are now a permanent addition to my s'mores kit!

These are terrific! Great colors and high quality.

Nice long fire roasting sticks. They will extend quite a way so my hands never felt like they were burning. The prongs are widely spaced which is good hot a hot dog but not ideal for one marshmallow. I like the colors so everyone can see which one is theirs- lessons arguments, especially about clean up.

These are safe for kids because the handles extend extra long, and the spears are teflon-coated so they don't overheat to the touch.

We needed something other than the sticks my husband found for roasting marshmallows! My granddaughter loved that she could pick her own color, and the she could roast her marshmallows further back from the fire. Husband thinks they are too fancy but I recommend them.

These are so cool!! We are going camping for two weeks over Christmas with friends and family so I used them as Christmas bag fillers with packets of giant marshmallows
