EXCELLENT BATTERY
The battery fits my Bose Soundlink and preforms very well. Thank you.

Better than the original battery.
Exact form/fit replacement for my Bose 40600. Super easy install and the Hex Wrench provided was the exact size for my unit. I fully charged the battery as the instructions say, it took about an hour. Once installed I connected the speaker to my TV via BT and the it ran for over 12 hours before I shut it off, it would have run longer I’m sure. Recharge took about 30 minutes. I’m very happy with this purchased and the price point was incredibly low IMO. Saved a high quality BT speaker from the trash for under $25. Can’t beat that!

More than adequate and works well.
I love my old Bose Soundlink speaker, and mine was old enough that it stopped charging. I couldn't find a Bose replacement so looked at several alternatives and settled for this one over similar offerings. No particular reason. The replacement battery arrived promptly, with a Phillips head screwdriver that was not suited for my speaker.Other than that, I was able to replace the battery without a hitch, just needed an Allench wrench.I charged it for 4 hours, 100% and then unplugged and played the speaker till it was drained. Took about 16 hours to drain. Then repeated the charge and drain sequence. Now I use it regularly and a charge lasts me a good 16-20 hours. For the price, if it lasts four years, it'd have been great.

Zero stars
Purchased to replace the original battery that was not holding a charge very long. This battery installed easily with the instructions and tool provided. I charged it up full and all seemed well. Until today when it would not turn on. Even when plugged in. No lights no nothing. So left it plugged in for an hour and still nothing. My beloved long time Bose companion is dead. I am so mad I can't stand it.

Battery that charged our speaker
We thought we lost the speaker and found it was the battery. Great replacement and the speaker works like new again.

The Battery Continues to Be Good but I Wonder
Like Messrs. Terry and Garcia wrote, it’s great to get one’s Bose speaker up and running again and I also wish that I knew long before I did about the availability of a replacement battery. I agree that the provided screwdriver doesn’t work.So far (a few months in), I am really happy with this replacement. The charge lasts upwards of 8 hours.8-3-25I’m still happy. The battery still holds a charge for around 8 hours. As one other reviewer wrote, this battery, unlike its OEM predecessor, does not have an intermediate yellow indication feature. It just goes from full (no light) to red. That could be a problem if one is going to be away from AC power. It’s worthy of a mention but only a bit of an annoyance.9-27-25This battery continues to charge and provides service. All of a sudden, the speaker has developed a habit of disconnecting from the streaming device. I don’t know for sure if these disconnects are battery-related but wonder if anyone else has experienced this issue.
