KREG Jig K4MS, Blue, Pack of 1

This is a great piece of kit which makes joining things like table legs and bookcase shelves much speedier and more accurate than traditional methods.If you are toying with the idea of getting one, just go for it, you will not be disappointed.I do have a couple of little niggles however. The first is that the Kreg screws are a little on the expensive side. My second gripe is not with the kit, but with the supplier. I ordered this from Toolman and the delivery was very quick, however on the box it said that there was a free Kreg mini inside......there wasn't.I have sent two emails via Amazon to Toolman, but they haven't replied to either.I will give the Kreg tool 5 stars but only one star for Toolman.Does anyone know how to review the seller ?

I opened the package only yesterday as it was a Christmas gift from my Wife so I have not had opportunity to use it yet, but I have assembled it in earliest readiness. It appears however to be a good solid unit, quality made with the appearance of being a "long last item" and one that will have regular use. The components are all of the same excellent quality, and having seen it first hand as stated in the stars rating I love it. I will try to submit a further report once I have had opportunity to use it. Going to watch the supplied video now to see if it provides any further info on top of the already comprehensive advertising demo of its use provided by Kreg on UTube.

The product is well made and appears very sturdy and fit for purpose. However I have not been able to use this as yet because the number of screws given to start you off is ridiculously miserly for a product costing over £100 largely made of 'plastic'! I am now having to wait for an order for screws to arrive so that I can make something. The screws are also expensive and increase the cost of the product considerably. Unless I can find a supplier who sells the screws at a more reasonable price I will be looking at using alternatives. A quick glance at the various types stocked by my local DIY megastore suggests to me that this should be possible though perhaps not desirable.I would give it 5 stars if it was supplied with a more realistic number of screws and it would also be a bigger selling point since you can't do much with it when it arrives until you buy a lot more screws!

This is an excellent piece of kit.I am not very good at woodworkbut i managed to make an excellent work bench with this jig.this jig is value for money.

Arrived promptly. Small test carried out in advance of first real project, with good results. Quality seems fine and I anticipate strong joints in my work.

Ordered the Kreg K4MS Jig Master System last night, and it was delivered before noon today. Now, that's fast.I've been eyeballing this kit for a while. Initially I thought it seemed a tad on the expensive side. However, I've learned that when it comes to tools going for a less expensive product isn't always the best choice.Opened the kit immediately. It was packaged well, and everything that was supposed to be there was there.Very solid feel to everything. My guess is that as long as I don't go out of my way to try and damage it, it's going to last a very long time.Scanned through the instructions (which are included) and played around with the bits and pieces making sure I knew how it all worked. Grabbed a scrap piece of wood and gave it a try. So easy to set up and use! Worked just as I hoped it would. And the little dust collection piece worked WAY better than I thought it would. Basically no mess to clean up. I will say that the dust collection attachment is a little small for most shop vacs, but I lucked out and had an adaptor to downsize.All in all, couldn't be happier with it! I'm hoping to start on some drawers in my shop in the next few days, and then use it for some cedar planters I promised my wife I'd make. Great product and great delivery service!!
