Rio Beach Big Kahuna Extra Large Folding Beach Chair

This is my favorite beach chair I've ever owned. I will never go back to anything else. This is my 3rd one of this style in last 7 years. Living at the beach, this gets a lot of use and I enjoy the height of it, the fact that it lays back all the way, and the width is super comfortable. Great for bigger people, as well. Highly recommend. My only complaint is that when it shipped, it had a plastic protectant film over the wooden arms. It was left outside for a few hours in the southern heat and the film "melted" to the arms. It took some time picking/peeling it to get it off, but good as new now.

Bought these before going to Dauphin Island Alabama for a week. Fantastic purchase glad I got them. They aren't very compact but are relatively flat when folded. Over all very happy with my purchase. I'm 6'2" 250lbs. I had zero issues with these chairs. I don't flop down when I sit though so if you tend to power bomb couch/ chair when you sit maybe you'll have issues. The little swing out cup holder was nice.

We bought two of these chairs. One of them is holding up fine, the one pictured however broke after only a couple of uses. Manufacturers defect?After contacting the seller / Rio manufacturer I did receive a replacement at no charge - overall happy with the follow through after I brought the issue to light.The chairs are comfortable and feel spacious- I would purchase again!

The wooden arm on this chair broke the first day that I used it, which made it impossible to keep the chair upright, and rendered it useless. I would NOT recommend this to anyone--especially for the price. It was large and space was tight in the car on our beach trip, so instead of lugging a broken chair home to return I just chunked in the dumpster at our condo. I was very disappointed.

This is my second Rio Big Kahuna. They are awesome. But. Mine just broke after 4 months. Used it maybe a dozen times. My previous Rio lasted 5 years. Seller please contact me about warranty service.

Great beach chair, wide, sturdy and comfortable. This chair sits low to the sand, which is my preference.

Super roomy and comfy ... but with that comes a bit if heaviness and bulky to cart around ... store in boat etc...

I live next to the beach in Brighton Beach /Coney Island NYC so a beach chair is a must have .. I had a lot of different ones over the years but this one is for sure the most comfortable one ever .. looks very nice too and the bag on the side is big ... only - thing .. the cup holder like on the picture is missing .. had one like this on my old Thommy Bahama chair .. they should put it it back on this chair !!...........after 3 weeks the "safe slide system" broke .. now the chairs back is falling down with a little pressure ... bad construction
