48k BTU 20.5 SEER Multi-Zone MrCool DIY 4 Zone Ductless Heat Pump Split System 4th Generation - 9k+9k+12k+24k

We built a new house and I installed the 12-12-12-24k system. It was easy to gat added parts for extra length . Really happy and quiet. We had a pretty cold winter with many morning well below 0 and still runs great.

I’ve had these things for two years now and it’s the second year in a row that my house is freezing 18 K head barely blows out hot air. The 12 K head is great works perfect. I’ve contacted the company multiple times to replace the head unit nothing so now I have to spending all this money. I’m using supplemental heat to make up for the 18 K unit that’s in my parlor

The unit is great. So far its keeping my house within 2 degrees of the set point and its extremely comfortable sleeping at night. This particular seller gave me the older generation lines though and not the newest kink free lines even though i ordered the newest 4th gen multizone and e-star air handlers. The kits do come with everything you need minus the electrical stuff.

DOES NOT QUALIFY FOR $2000 TAX REBATE because the IRS changed the 2025 requirements to receive the Energy Efficient Home Improvement Tax Credit. Now a manufacturer of a qualifying product must register to be a "qualified manufacturer" through the IRS Energy Credits Online Portal and have a QM code assigned for a taxpayer to receive the credit. Each qualifying product must have a pin # assigned too but the IRS will accept just the QM code for 2025 since this is a new requirement. However the customer service for Mr. Cool is too lazy to register as a qualified manufacturer and so no one will get the $2000 Tax credit in 2025 because they won't register.Buy from a qualified manufacturer. $2000 is a huge tax credit to pass up on because a manufacturer won't take the required steps.
