VEVOR Electric Honey Extractor, 4/8 Frame, Silver

Bought this on a sale last fall for our beekeeping and honey harvesting needs. It sat in the garage for months until closer to this summer when we were ready for first use. Not opening it for months concerned us, but everything was fine. We mounted it onto a rolling wooden cart for ease of movement and use. Assembly of the unit was simple enough to follow, and the motor kicked in right away when the safety lids were in the closed position. Rotation speed is scalable, and it processed 4 medium honey supers at a time. Clean-up was doable, but getting getting hands and cleaning cloths/brushes to the lowest levels through all the wire holding brackets was tricky. We are very satisfied with this electric motor product, purposely choosing it over a manual-cranking product --- we would highly recommend it for hobby beekeepers not processing commercial volumes of honey.

My husband researched this like he was purchasing a new car. He is absolutely thrilled with the purchase. Works well and exceeds his expectations. Very quiet. He has changed from a 5 gallon bucket for catching the money to a 3 1/2 gallon. Fits underneath better. We did purchase felt pads for the legs to prevent them from sliding while in use.

Decided to a spend little more and get an electric extractor instead of a hand crank. Haven’t tried it with frames full of honey in them yet. Tested it out with empty wood frames with plastic foundation and 21st bee frames. Both super and deep frames. Spun with no problems and seems like it will work well during extraction. Only adjustment I had to make was one of the metal pieces on the lid that hits the switch to let it know the lid is open or closed. It was pushing in too much not letting it spin and also not letting the lid sit completely flush. Just loosened the screw on the metal piece attached to the lid. Pushed the piece in, then tightened while holding it in place. Lowered lid back down. It sat flush and made proper contact with the switch for the motor to run. Definitely recommend it for anyone else getting started and don’t mind spending a few dollars more to not have to crank a handle. Which means instead of standing there turning a handle you can do something else like decapping the next batch of frames to go in.

Since posting my review, the company reached out to me and sent me a complete new machine. I am pleased that they took action. I do think if I hadn't told me story that nothing would have happened. I am satisfied with the extractor. I ordered my extractor on sale a couple months before I needed it. When I opened it, I found that the barrel had been damaged in transit as the cage inside caved in the side. As a result, it would not turn. I reached out to Vevor using a life chat. I sent three pictures of the damage and explained the problem. I was told I would receive an email with instructions as how to move forward within 24-72 hours. I rec'd an automated response that told me they rec'd my complaint and would look into it. The next thing I rec'd from them was an email telling me I hadn't responded so they were closing my ticket! Now I have a product that cost $159 and too late to return to Amazon and Vevor blew me off. I have ordered others products from that such as bee boxes and frames on Amazon. Due to the non-existent customer service, I will no longer purchase from Vevor. If they would have helped me out and replaced the barrel which was damaged due to poor packaging, I would have been pleased with the product. The rest of the extractor looks decent for the money, but what I rec'd it worthless. Very disappointed!

This item is junk! This was our first time using this honey extractor and I was excited because we have always used a hand crank extractor. We were extracting our honey and after completing 5 frames of honey we turned it off so we could put more honey supers in to extract and when I went to turn it on nothing happened. Tried unplugging, closing lids tighter, checked the outlet to see if it blew the GFI and it still didn't worked moved the extractor to different outlets and tried again. Still nothing! Contacted Vevor and they wanted a video showing it did not work. So we did that and then they wanted (on video) for us to take the electrical box apart to see if there were any loose wires...did that! Then we were told to take the covers off and squeeze the connectors by hand. We did that. Then they responded by sending us an operation video and it was in Chinese and we could not understand any of it. We responded by telling them we had purchased this item in good faith and we expected them to honor the warranty and we wanted a full refund since this was clearly a product fail. We were told we would have to pay for the shipping to return it or we could keep the piece of junk and they would refund $90.00 of a $260.00. Vevor does not stand behind their products and clearly sell junk! DO NOT BUY THIS JUNK EQUIPMENT!!!

Easy to put together, works great!

Worked well. We have a small apiary, only 6 hives, and only harvested seven 8 frame supers. Sure beats my old hand crank unit. I would like to support an American company but can't justify the cost difference for my hobby operation. I will say it doesn't fit 4 medium frames at once as it's advertised to.

We had a minor problem with a honey extractor. The company was easy to contact and very responsive to our issue providing a more than expected satisfaction to resolve the problem. Great support system with this company.

Die Schleuder hat jetzt zwei Honigernten hinter sich und die mit Bravour gemeistert. Wenn man ein bisschen auf das Gewicht der Waben achtet äußerst laufruhig. Ich vermisse eigentlich nur einen Linkslauf, das wäre manchmal schon praktisch. Zur Reinigung leicht zerlegbar. Insgesamt ein tolles Gerät mit super Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Imballato bene e pare che funziona ma ancora non lo uso per smielare. Manca il rubinetto e le viti per montare i piedi.

No me gusto las revoluciones que tiene asi la miel no sale correctamente a no ser que el operculo no este cerrado y pueden probar ustedes haber si no. Es correcto lo que digo
