My favorite for everyday use
This is the diaper cream I use the most during the day. For a severe diaper rash, I personally reach for a stronger cream, but for everyday use and prevention, I think this one is wonderful. Within Weleda’s calendula line, I use the oil after bath time and this cream throughout the day, and together they have worked very well for us. What I like most about this cream is that it does not have the overly pasty texture that many other diaper creams have, so it is easy to apply, spreads well, and feels much more practical for frequent use. I also really appreciate the formula. It contains zinc oxide, calendula, chamomile, sweet almond oil, and lanolin, and overall it feels like a more natural and gentler option than many others I have tried. In my experience, it helps keep the skin protected, soothed, and in good shape, especially when used consistently. Another plus is the scent. I know that part is subjective, but to me it smells much better than most diaper creams I have tried. It has a pleasant, clean scent, and that makes the whole experience of using it much nicer. This is not the one I reach for when there is a truly severe rash, but it is the one I choose for daily care because it prevents very well, feels lighter, and has ingredients I like much more. I keep repurchasing it and absolutely recommend it if you are looking for a good diaper cream for everyday protection.

GREAT CREAM WIFE USES FOR OUR BABIES
Weleda Baby Calendula Diaper Cream is widely acclaimed by parents and experts as a highly effective, natural solution for preventing and treating diaper rash, boasting a 4.9-star reputation for its gentle yet powerful formula. Featuring a thick, barrier-forming blend of 12% zinc oxide, beeswax, and soothing calendula extract, it actively reduces redness and skin irritation often after just one use. Users consistently praise its clean, non-toxic ingredients—free from synthetic fragrances and preservatives—and its ability to protect delicate skin from moisture without clogging pores. While some users note a slightly herbal, strong scent and a somewhat runny consistency initially, its overall efficacy, longevity, and high-quality, plant-rich composition make it a staple, "must-have" product for both daily care and severe diaper rash management

Don’t get anything else!
Been using this for the past year and don’t have any complaints or issues. It really works for our child— prevents diaper creams, natural, and smells great. It’s cheapest on Amazon. Whole Foods and other stores carry the single tube for $16+.

Natural protection that works!!
I can’t say enough good things about Weleda Baby Calendula Diaper Cream! 🌼 From the very first use, I noticed how gentle and soothing it is on my baby’s skin. It goes on thick enough to protect, but still feels breathable—not heavy or greasy. The natural ingredients give me peace of mind, especially knowing I’m using something safe and nourishing. It’s been amazing at preventing diaper rash, and when irritation does pop up, it clears it up so quickly. A little truly goes a long way, and the light, natural scent is such a bonus. This has definitely become a staple in our diaper routine—highly recommend to any parent looking for a reliable, gentle diaper cream! 💛

Good for more than just diaper rashes!
I personally ordered this cream because I was getting a rash in my armpits from all the so called ‘clean’ deodorants and it was so painful all the time. I had to stop putting anything on for a few days because it was burning so badly. I looked into a diaper rash cream because I figured it would kinda work the same way to relieve the pain and irritation. I found this and I now use this as my deodorant! It’s absolutely fabulous and I’ve had zero reactions to it. I apply it every 1-2 days and I have zero smell or irritation! This has literally saved my skin!

The best natural diaper cream - gentle and effective!
Weleda Baby Calendula Diaper Cream is absolutely amazing! As a parent who prefers natural products, this cream delivers everything I want - gentle ingredients that actually work. The calendula and chamomile blend is incredibly soothing and has prevented every diaper rash we might have had. The cream goes on smoothly without being too thick or difficult to spread. It creates a perfect protective barrier that lasts through multiple diaper changes. Even during teething when baby's skin is extra sensitive, this cream keeps everything comfortable and rash-free. What I love most is the ingredient list - no harsh chemicals or synthetic fragrances, just pure plant-based goodness. The light, natural scent is pleasant without being overpowering. It's gentle enough for the most sensitive skin but effective enough to trust completely. The 2.8 fl oz tube lasts a surprisingly long time since you only need a thin layer for great protection. It's become an essential part of our diaper changing routine and gives me complete confidence in keeping baby comfortable. Perfect for parents wanting natural protection that actually works. Quality ingredients, gentle formula, and proven effectiveness make this our go-to diaper cream. Highly recommend for any parent seeking natural baby care!

The perfect diaper cream
A glycerin allergy runs in our family, but I have also been told it can be pretty caustic for babies‘ thinner skin. My granddaughter went through diaper cream after diaper cream as we tried to find one that didn’t either seem to cause a sore diaper area or make an existing one worse. Often, “natural glycerin” or “vegetable glycerin” are not listed on ingredient lists in the United States, either because they are not an added ingredient but occur “organically” during the process of producing the product or because glycerin is seen as a harmless ingredient. If a person has an allergy, any kind of glycerin is not good. Finally, I went looking for the German baby creams I’m used to. German packaging must show everything in a product even if it occurs “organically” during the manufacturing process. Weleda was the perfect answer for my granddaughter. It is completely glycerin free, contains natural ingredients that help sooth both outbreaks and inflammation, and it still is sticky and thick enough to provide a real barrier that stays on the kiddo’s tush as opposed to wiping off almost immediately on the diaper. We can always tell when my granddaughter’s tube at daycare has run out because she has a rash by the time she gets home. This diaper cream has been a fanny saver for her. Just as an aside, most other Weleda products do have glycerin — in the event you think your kiddo might have a sensitivity, too — but it is clearly listed of the labeling.

Still my go-to diaper cream
TL;DR Changed the ingredients, works good still, clears up redness quickly, good with cloth diapers, would recommend I went through 2 tubes of Made in Switzerland, and just started a Made in Germany tube. I can tell it's a little different, but just using it, it's pretty similar. Definitely not as different as the ingredient lists make them seem. (I'm now wondering if the old version just didn't have the ingredients listed in order of most to least. That would explain why beeswax jumping down from 1st to 5th didn't have a huge impact on the consistency.) There are a few new ingredients. I've read that some people are worried about them, I'm not. (Pics of both sets of ingredients, fine print-Switzerland, bold print-Germany) I got this cream to use with cloth diapering - there's no petroleum and calendula is a good healing herb. It's great with my cloth diapers (mostly pockets, some have a fleecy lining). Always washes out, no "zinc staining". It's great on my baby's bum. Generally spreads smoothly, smells nice (not overpowering), and clears up rashes quickly. Redness might be gone in a few hours. If there's lots of irritating excretion throughout the day, applied at bedtime, it is usually gone by morning. A little goes a long way. The first tube, the cream had separated when I opened it. Mostly cream with little specks of clear liquid. Second tube, the cream was emulsified, but as it got towards the end, it separated similarly. Third tube, a bit of clear liquid right when I opened it, but so far the rest is emulsified. Despite separation, it still applied well, better on a totally dry bum. Just got mixed on the bum instead of in the tube. Made in Germany tube was much less dinged up during shipping than the other two (Pics of the second tube and box, dented). This is a big deal, and a good change, considering that the tubes are metal, and each dent is a point of weakness that might become a hole as you go through the tube. ALWAYS squeeze from the end of the tube, pushing all the product towards the nozzle, to avoid additional creasing (and eventually breaking) of the tube.

Best Diaper Cream for Sensitive Skin
The BEST diaper rash cream!! I’ve tried everything else on my son who has exceptionally sensitive skin and the Waleda cream is the only thing that clears up his rash (within 12 hours usually!). It also smells nice and earthy.
