Very impressed with the low price for a brand new and usually much higher priced quality Smith helmet. I have and skied the same helmet last year and found it a good fit, secure, comfortable and warm. When I recently saw it here for half the price I paid last year, but with extra visibility (red) it was an easy purchase. Also shipping was ultra fast, helmet arrived in two days, also well shipped in two boxes with the inner box being the original Smith packaging just as seen in the store. Thank you!

Comfortable fit. Well vented. Sturdy build. Good safe pocket for headphones.

Great helmet. The only thing I dislike is the rim on the front. It makes it difficult to rest your goggles on the brim. Last time, I got a large but this time, I'm going with medium. I had a spill and this thing took most of the impact. The helmet broke into many pieces but I didn't get a concussion or even a headache. I can't imagine what would have happened with a cheaper helmet or without one at all.

I have been a lifetime "I'll never ski with a helmet" guy until my partner refused to go skiing any more with me until I got a helmet. Fine. I tried on several and while I wish they had more of the fun colors available in the XL size I am actually very pleased with this helmet. It's super comfortable and unlike the next model down this one has adjustable air vents so your head doesn't get too hot. I wore this with a balaclava and had no issues, most of the time I didn't even know I was wearing it. I also tried on the non-MIPS model (in a retail store) and I noticed that this one feels much softer with few/no pressure points - not sure if that has to do with the MIPS technology or just a stylistic difference. Either way I'm a true convert and would 110% recommend this helmet to anyone.

Smith helmets look really good, but this is a bit heavy. Ordered both this and the Giro Neo MIPS helmet and kept the Giro Neo. The smith looks more stylish, but it's heavier and not as comfortable. Giro is also some 40 bucks cheaper. Overall, I recommend the Giro Neo.

I'm a ski snob as I ski a ton. This is my second Smith helmet (first I had for 10 years). Works as advertised. Not cheap but hey, it's your life potentially. I know my size but one might want to try one on first at a ski shop. High quality product (price is the same, Smith doesn't discount that I have found). Also made to fit Smith goggles perfectly. Recommend.

Finally replaced my helmet. Fits well, warm, adjustable in the back. Love the small visor to keep snow off the top of your goggles.
