A Nice Looking and Comfortable Coat.
This is a well made classic look that is of a comfortable weight with all of the period touches. It fit well in the chest and shoulders. A bit snug in the waist however I have been told that was the style. Overall I will likely wear it, a waistcoat and contrasting trousers in place of a suit for future events where coat and tie are the dress code.

Love this coat
I am fortunate to work at a historic inn at the Mount Washington Resort, where I am free to dress in elegant Victorian period clothing.I have purchased many vests and ties from Historical Emporium. I have never been disappointed. The products, are beautiful and arrive quickly.Love this coat. Quality made and looks great.

Costumers Beware
I ordered this coat based on the photo above which shows a light colored Khaki which I described as a cream color. What I received is a dark almost green/grey khaki. When I contacted them about this I was told the issue is with my computer monitor and that "Looking at the Callahan Frock Coat - Khaki, it is a khaki color and not a cream." It isn't a matter of my computer or lighting. The images posted don't match the product.

This item is well made and looks good. Recommended for reenactment, costume apparel and maybe casual wear.

Nice coat.
Nice well made coat. Only thing I would have preferred would have been peak lapels and it's missing any and all exterior pockets. At least it has its interior ones. Overall a great frock for the price but would have been excellent with those minor changes. I hope someday they add peak split lapels to there product line for both single and double breasted coats. They were the most common style coats of the era.
