Aquasana AQ-6006-LGRN 18-Ounce Glass Water Bottle with Silicone Sleeve, Light Green

I will admit I am picky about my water bottles, and I fell like Goldilocks when I am trying new ones out. I have tried many kinds from plastic to stainless steel, without straws since I am not a fan of straws, they are too hard to clean. Of the bottles I have tried I found them to be either too big and bulky to fit into the side pocket of my backpack (which is made for water bottles), or they are too small to fit snugly causing them to fall out with the movement of me placing my backpack on the floor in class then picking it back up to go to my next class. I have also found most bottle openings to be too big, causing me to spill water down the front of my shirt which is really attractive. Though many bottles appeared to be sealed tightly they ended up leaking. The stainless steel bottles sweat causing me to lose grip on them quite often and the plastic ones make the water taste funny.When I received this water bottle I was thrilled, as Goldilocks would say, it is JUST RIGHT! Let me list the ways in which this trumps all the other bottles I have tried.1. It fits perfectly in the side pocket to my backpack.2. The size of the bottle is good too, it fits comfortably in my hand (not sure if the other reviewer who complained it was too big for her hands has really small hands or what).3. The cap screws on tight and I have experienced no leaks yet.4. I personally love ice cold water so I was relieved to find that the shape of ice that my refrigerators ice maker puts out, a half moon shape, fits easily into this bottle (another reviewer mentioned hers did not, which is a shame).5. Speaking of ice, this holds just the right amount of water, so even though the ice has melted by the time I get to the bottom the water itself is still cold. If it held more water I would end up drinking luke warm water in the end which I hate and if it held less water I would be running to fill it up all the time, not good either.6. Though it sweats like the stainless steel bottles the silicone sleeve on this helps with my grip so I don't drop it.7. The bottle opening is about two times larger than an opening to a Nestle Pure Life water bottle. For me it is the perfect size to drink from so I do not end up spilling it down the front of my shirt.8. Lastly it is sturdy, and does not tip over easily as some water bottles do from being too tall or top heavy.As for some reviewers saying the glass is too thin I completely disagree, it is rather thick. Some reviewers said they did not like that the glass was thick because it made the bottle too heavy. Yes the bottle is heavier than regular water bottles but it is GLASS so of course it would be heavier. This has not been a problem for me at all.I would not recommend you wash this in the dishwasher though, the opening isn't large enough for the water to get up in there properly to clean it out. I bought the OXO Good Grips Water Bottle Cleaning Set on Amazon and it works great! My husband and son prefer water bottles with straws (yuck) so this kit is awesome for that too!Some reviewers stated there was a smell to the silicon sleeve and they are correct but as other reviewers mentioned all you need to do is soak it in warm soapy water and the smell goes away.

I practice using this type of water bottle, and I love it. I do not like plastic water bottles because I can taste the plastic in the water. I love that this water bottle is glass and that it has the rubber around it so it’s easy to grab and hold. It goes in the dishwasher easily for easy cleanup. I have used it many many times, and it still looks brand new. I would definitely recommend these types of bottles for everyone for the sake of our environment and they are wonderful Also.

I have searched and tried several different travel bottles. I always have my water with me so that I drink all day long. I tried stainless cups, but the piece you drink from is either very thin and uncomfortable or plastic. I tried Contigo plastic ones that had unique, spill-proof design that was all BPA free, but the mechanism is impossible to keep clean and part of broke after only a couple months. This lead me to glass. It is heavier, but I can throw it in my bag or purse and it doesn't spill. It tastes great to drink from as it is nice, thick glass like regular glasses I drink from at home. I wash it both in the dishwasher and by hand - whichever I need at the time. The grip is great. I never noticed a smell like some other reviewers and I am sensitive to smells. I rest easy drinking from this knowing there are no chemicals leaching into my crystal clear well water and there is just something about drinking from glass that makes everything taste better.

A nice glass bottle that seems heavy enough to be durable. One reviewer mentioned that the green color she purchased was muddier than the photo. I bought the teal hoping it would be as bright and pretty as the photo. It is not. It's darker and muddier in color, also. I'd call it "utility-looking." I won't use it for my intended purpose, which was to be attractive enough to leave sitting on my desk at work. I was hoping to save money over the BKR, which my co-worker has. Hers is so pretty with its diffused icy looking sleeve, but at twice the price. Well, now I'll turn around and buy the BKR. Still, the Aquasana will be a good utility bottle, and it fits in my car cup holder, which the BKR doesn't, so they both have their advantages.

I love essential oils and love the benefits when adding them to water. Essential oils will eat through plastic, so most water bottles aren't options for me. Then I found this one. it's made of glass, which is essential oil safe. In the several months that I've had it, it's held up well. At least, I haven't broken it so far and I tend to not be the most graceful person. The silicone sleeve does a good job of protecting it. I've only washed it in my dishwasher. I wash it with the silicone sleeve on it and then remove the silicone sleeve once a week, to get it thoroughly clean on the outside. My experience is that it gets clean regardless. I've never noticed any trapped food bits when I leave the sleeve on for washing, but I still remove it every now and then anyways. The sleeve fits snugly, but I've had no issues removing it or putting it back on. I'll be buying more of these!

Cheapest glass bottle that has a glass sleeve and is that size. Love the top, interesting color, whatever color you think you’re getting;picture that with a grey tone to it. I saw the reviews and didn’t really care about the color so it’s not a big deal to me. Haven’t tried it in the fridge, pray for me.

I bought two of these, and one broke in the first day of use from simply washing under hot water. The walls of the bottle are very thin and visibly irregular. The mouth is very small, so the only way it seems you can clean it is with hot water. The hot water caused the bottom to break cleanly from the sides. I won't "shock" the other one with hot water, but I suspect it will eventually break from a moderate impact. I would not recommend these flimsy bottles.

I love these bottles. They are just the right size, fit in the car, very solid and you can buy different colors. So far, I have the red and the orange.....very satisfied.

I like this water bottle and use it every day and ensure I get my required water quota per day. I like the non-slip silicone sleeve, because my previous bios bottle got broken without protective cover.The bottle is a bit heavier than I wanted, but top is not too big for drinking.

Perfect for use with essential oils added to water.

It works. Not much more to say than that. Seal is good.
