Actually works, no fuss, no mess.
I spilled a quart of motor oil in the garage and grabbed the Zorbent bag I’d bought a while back. Poured a light layer over the slick, let it sit maybe 5 minutes, then swept it up with a push broom. The oil was completely gone—no greasy film left behind—and the powder didn’t kick up dust like clay kitty litter does. While I was at it, I spread moret of the bag across the whole floor before sweeping the whole garage; it grabbed all the fine dust and left the concrete looking cleaner than it had in years. One bag handled the oil plus the dust cleanup, and I still have well over half left for the next accident. Will definitely keep this in the shop. Great value for the cost , no smell to it, it was very effective the size of the bag will last multiple uses.

Used in garden
So i actually used this in my garden. I live in suburban utah where water is scarce and expensive. Not to mention the blistering heat. I wanted a way to help retain moisture in my sandy soil. So I sprinkled about a teaspoon in each hole I made for each of my transplanted seedlings. IT WORKED and not just kind of well. I was able to water every 3rd day. So if I watered on sunday I was good til Wednesday. Plants were happy and absolutely thrived. When I pulled the dead plants at the end of the season the roots were all centered and entangled around the "zorbent" so the root balls were small but it clearly worked out. Next year ill try to evenly mix it throughout my soil and ill update this review then.

so far so good
Our dog is getting old, and has incontinence issues and bladder stones. After months of multiple accidents a day, and rolls and rolls and rolls of paper towels, we were wishing for something that was less wasteful - both in terms of materials and money. My husband and I were reminiscing on our elementary school days and the not-so-pleasant memory of the school janitors using sawdust to absorb vomit came to mind (gross, I know lol) but it got me thinking. Does something like that exist for consumers? Did some research and found this product. So far, so good. A little goes a long way and it is very absorbent! We have laminate flooring and some of the boards have unfortunately warped due to the wetness penetrating the cracks. I think this is a better solution than paper towels because it really sucks everything up. We put a little extra over the cracks to really draw out that moisture. We do manually sweep it up, as I'm worried about clogging the vacuum over time, and that works just fine for us. Happy we found this!

Works very well!
Really liked this absorbent! I used it to absorb old paint we had in our basement. I had to use a decent amount but some of these cans were gallons almost full. It’s a good price for how much you get, and it works great! There is no odor to it and it was easy to use.

Needed to dispose of a small container of oil with water
These stuff sucked up the chocolatey oil like a kid hitting a milkshake....then the brain freeze hit. Looks like pasty sand at this point so I dumped it in a bag with cat litter just as extra. Cat litter does not do oil well, too viscous. Auto store and recycler didn't want it so this was the next option.

It's take a while to solidify
It takes ALOT to absorb oils, which is what I bought it for. And it solidifies over night, not right away.

Lifesaver for Rugs You Actually Care About
I wasn’t planning on writing a review—mainly because I hoped I’d never have to use this product. No one wants to deal with moisture or messes on carpet, because it usually means something went wrong. Unfortunately, my dog got sick and vomited all over a very expensive rug—the kind you can’t treat with harsh sprays or stain removers. Thankfully, I caught it within minutes. I poured the powder directly over the long streak of vomit, let it sit, and then used a handheld brush and dustpan to sweep it all up into a trash bag. After that, I followed up with warm water and a tiny bit of dish soap just to make sure there was no lingering smell. Even the white parts of the rug look good as new. The powder didn’t leave any residue behind, didn’t cause any staining, and was really easy to clean up. Honestly, the only wear the rug showed was from me scrubbing it with a rag—not from the product. This stuff saved the day without damaging anything.

Super absorbent!! Great value compared to other brands for weight to cost ratio.
This stuff is insane. Its absorbency is unreal and it cleans up like a dream. Be prepared to clean and sanitize after liquid is absorbed and disposed of, of course, but this isn’t meant to be a cleaner. Game changer with puppies.
