Great product best for small hands
I never do product reviews but this controller is like a dream super Nintendo controller with analog sticks amazing from playing andriod games and very easy to setup. 8bitdo has out done themselves ! No matter what I pair this controller to it works well the analogs feel great ! The buttons are very responsive and not mushy at all. If you need a good controller for Android or other systems go for it! I will warn though it's no bigger than a snes controller and can be a hard sell for people with large hands . So just be aware the size could be a problem.

Fantastic product, just read the instructions…
I bought this controller so I could better enjoy games on my iPhone, MacBook, Gaming PC (both for PC games and use with emulators for vintage games), and take it to game parties at my friends house or a bar that mainly play games on a Nintendo Switch (Mario Party, Kart, Smash Bros., etc). The size is perfect and true to SNES style and weighs less than a small iPhone. The battery life and functionality are impressive. I am considering buying another more to have as a second controller for a guest and as gifts for friends that enjoy video games. I do like that. It will turn itself off if it is not in use for an extended period of time and will automatically reconnect if booted up in the proper mode. Additionally I like that it turns itself off when I shut down the computer it’s paired to.Read the instructions carefully as different modes are for different types of devices. If using it on a PC, be sure that when it appears in your Bluetooth devices that are discoverable, it appears as “8bitdo pro controller” and not as “pro controller”. I noticed when I had paired it to my gaming PC as “pro controller” it did not have support for vibration and limited functionality for joysticks, when I connected it properly as “8bitdo pro controller” it had full compatibility, just keep in mind and that for some PC games, the bindings will be referencing lettered buttons as if it had Xbox bindings/button assignment (so B will be A, A is B, and so on). It is very easy to switch modes on it but takes a little memory, if you’re only using it on one device and you shouldn’t have no issue once you set it up properly.

Expect excellent quality for what you are paying
I love this thing. It feels like an original SNES controller, but with analog sticks! The buttons all have really nice feelings and clicky feedback, the analogs are pretty solid, they remind me of PS4 controller analogs. It's super portable and mine came in a nice case. It syncs up to my Android device,PC,and Nintendo Switch perfectly and the controls map automatically. There's zero response lag, easily the best Bluetooth controller especially at the price. The quality of the controller itself is really solid and durable,I love the feeling.

Occasionally Uncomfortable, but No Accidental Button Presses!
If an SNES controller were to have joysticks, this is how it would have turned out.The colors are delightful, the material feels great in the hands, and the joysticks are full sized (which I personally prefer greatly over the joycon sticks). Plus, it connects to both my Switch and my phone (yay Bluetooth). Also, the D-pad has relatively few accidental inputs, making it pretty okay for Tetris. The motion controls are okay, but I wouldn't play a lot of Splatoon on it. Due to how that game uses so many of the button inputs that it makes holding the controller uncomfortable. The ergonomics are a bit wonky though. There's no easy way to grip it comfortably for a long period that gives access to both joysticks. Unlike holding the D-pad and buttons on an SNES controller, where you can use your thumbs and grip your fingers underneath it, reaching the joysticks in the middle means either curving such that your wrists are awkward or reaching over such that the shoulder buttons are awkward. I'd like to think my hands aren't THAT small, but I really couldn't find a comfortable position where it didn't start kinda hurting after half an hour.Though here's the one feature that makes me wish Nintendo implemented this in their controllers; a feature that single handedly gives this controller 5 stars of praise: The accidental button presses do not turn it on.If you toss the pro controller into a bag, every time it jostles and pushes a button, it searches for the Switch and slowly drains it's own battery. It's ridiculous since the pro controller otherwise touts such a magnificent battery life. This controller, however, requires a unique button presses before it'll activate, depending on what system you're activating it for. For example, to start searching for my Switch, I need to press START + Y first. Then it runs the search and pairing that lets me start. This thing is perfect for tossing into a bag! It came with a protective case that I used once and then realized it the case was completely pointless and proceeded to unceremoniously chuck the controller into my bag. Plus, it's so small, it's great to just keep around to play multiplayer stuff on other people's Switches too.If I was going to get another one oof these controllers, I'd definitely go for the one with the hand grips instead of the retro shape. But if size and portability is a main factor, this one is wonderful.
