10.1 WiFi Digital Photo Frame, Canupdog IPS Touch Screen Smart Cloud Photo Frame with 16GB Storage Update: They have sent several software updates in the 6 or so months since I bought this frame. This shows they are still actively developing for it, which is nice. Somewhere in the last one or two up dates they fixed the problems I reported in my original review so I am very happy with it now. I can now set it so the default slideshow behavior is to make the whole slide fit to the screen based on whichever dimension is largest and it offers options to fill the unused margins, including black, which is exactly what I wanted. I am changing my review from 2 to 5 stars as promised. ===== I was most worried about how the pictures would be transferred to the frame because a lot of these photo frames force you to use an app and all my pictures are on my PC. All I want to do is load the pictures to an SD card using my PC, put the card in the frame and have the frame display them, just like the ancient photo frame this was replacing. Turns out, this frame did not make me use an app, hallelujah. I thought it was a bit annoying that the frame wanted an network connection but they even issued a firmware update soon after I bought my frame that would allow you to send images directly from PC to frame, not sure if via cable or wifi. In any case there are a lot of nice features blah blah blah and most are accessible via the touch screen without using additional apps, remotes, web sites or other external dependencies. The problem is, and why I am only giving 2 stars, when displaying pictures the frame insists on zooming in so that the entire screen is full. So for example, a picture in portrait mode could be zoomed way in to the middle, cutting off their head or whatever is at the top. My photos include a lot of old pictures converted from slides and prints, so there are a lot of variations in aspect ratio. One would think this would be a common problem and they would have worked it out. In fact, they have! There is a button that says "fit to frame" (something like that) that does exactly what I want: proportionally size down the image to fit the largest of either vertical or horizontal so the entire image is displayed, and just leave the unused portions of the screen (sidebars or top/bottom margins) empty. Two problems: 1 - There is no setting to make this the default behavior. So what is the customer supposed to do, go through hundreds of pictures one at a time and for each one, go through the touch screen menu system to locate and press the button? Seriously? 2 - The unused portion of the screen should be left blank or even better, display dark (as black as the screen can manage). Instead, they display bright blurriness that looks terrible. Maybe some day they will do another update that does what I want. It is nice to know that they are still actively working on the firmware. When it gets and update there is a little box in the corner of the screen that alerts you. I would love to be giving this 5 stars but almost every picture I see on my frame leaves me grumbling. The basic ability to display pictures pretty important. The ancient frame that this one replaced could do the job with no problem and do you know how old it was? It was so old that when I took the SDHC card out and moved it to the new frame but it would not read it. Finally I figured out that this was because the old card was 16MB. Yes, MEGAbytes. For some reason this simple understanding of how a photo frame should operate has been lost along the way, as they built in all kind of fancy stuff the core functionality has been neglected. It's like they did a great job with the frosting but the cake itself is meh. I hope someday after an update I will revise this review to 5 stars.

Love this picture frame the size is great. I had it for about 6 months and started having issues with it cutting off on its on and would have to unplug it for about 15 minutes then plug back in a it would work. But it would continue to cut off periodically. So I reached out to customer support and told them the problem sent a few videos of what was going on and they replaced it with a new picture frame. I received the new one in 2 days. I was very impressed with them and sending me a new picture frame.

The 16-inch is perfect for a wall, while the 10-inch is ideal for a nightstand or shelf. User-Friendly Experience Setting up the frame is a breeze. You can even schedule automatic on/off times and set up a cloud backup (though a subscription is required). Reliable Customer Service When I encountered an issue, customer service was incredibly responsive and helpful. They quickly resolved the problem, and I was able to transfer photos to a new frame using a flash drive. I highly recommend using a flash drive for additional storage and as a backup. Cloud backup is available for a subscription, but if you have the USB connected, you don't need it. Exceptional Picture Quality The picture quality is stunning, and the frame's ability to share a link for multiple contributors is a fantastic feature. I've experienced no memory issues, even with a large number of photos. Overall, this digital photo frame is an excellent choice and is a good value for the money. It's a fantastic way to display cherished memories and would make a wonderful gift for yourself or someone special.

Update: What seems like the original website for this product is where the customer service ball got dropped. The seller on Amazon was very helpful, quick to reply and very understanding. They quickly shipped a new unit and the unit is working wonderfully! — Word to the wise, plug this frame into a surge protector, if possible! All it takes is one good storm to take any electronics out, this is no exception. But when in doubt, reach out to the seller via Amazon! Original review: This frame has been wonderful as a gift for my mom who is a first time grandmother. Very easy to use but the video uploads are a little tricky to display. The rating however is due to the customer service on the device. I have been waiting nearly a week for some assistance, and have only had one reply asking for details. I provided them same day and am still waiting, days later for any assistance or reply. Be careful with this frame when a storm rolls thru, if you lose power, even momentarily. Since a bad storm came thru our area, the frame only displays a welcome screen and will not go past this stage. We have factory reset, unplugged and plugged in the unit, and force restarted the frame and no movement. The app shows the frame as offline. I would love to give this frame the 5 stars it deserves but customer service is awful and barely responsive.

I was looking for a frame that specifically has motion sensor - I want to replace the frame my parents have as it is old and needs to be updated. The one I bought for them before (in 2017) has this feature, and I know they never turn on/off their frame as they rely only on the motion sensor on/off option. I wanted a larger size as well, so after researching my options, I ordered this frame. Set-up was easy, but there is even no motion sensor option in the frame settings though the manual clearly explains how to turn it on. I was confused until I found another review with this specific problem. THIS FRAME HAS NO MOTION SENSOR! The power button in in the back panel, so if you do not set up the sleeping mode, you'll need to manually turn the frame on and off by pressing the button, to do that you need to tilt the frame and search for the button in the back of the frame. This is extremely inconvenient if you decide to hang your frame on the wall, if at all possible in such a setting. There is no remote to help out with this, if it at least had a remote control, that would solve half of the problem. Also, the speed of picture rotation is pre-set, and you can't change it (how long each picture will stay on display). And I also didn't particularly like the size: it seemed a little too long on the sides leaving a lot of unused space for vertical pictures (but this is most likely my personal thing). One-star for false advertising - I was misled by the wrong description, unless the manufacturer has recently discontinued the motion sensor option, but the description remains unchanged. One thing I have discovered so far: if a frame has motion sensor option, it won't have the sleep mode available. I might be wrong, but this is what I have noticed in the frames that I researched.

EDIT: After hearing back from the manufacturer of the frame again they worked with me to give me a warranty on the broken frame and sent the newest model. They sent it with a different software that they said has less problems so hoping for the best as we’ve really enjoyed having this in our home. Only giving 4 stars because it was a little bit of a hassle trying to fix the old one and that it would break that easily in 1 year but customer service was 5 stars to get a replacement. Disappointed mostly with Frameo software as I had given these as gifts and now need to use different softwares to download pictures Worked great for about little less than a year then got stuck on a loading screeen and hasn’t worked since. Frame company says it s the softwares fault and software company says it’s the frames fault, no way to restart other than unplugging overnight. Save your money and buy one that actually works and doesn’t use a scapegoat to avoid responsibility!

OK, so I bought this for my wife thinking that it was just gonna be able to put some pictures on there and be good to go and that any of us could put pictures on there. What I did not know is that we could also put pictures onto my parents frame and my parents can put pictures on ours. We can connect it together and everybody can add whatever pictures they want on there. I did not know this I thought this was super cool. As long as you have good Internet connection, which honestly doesn’t have to be the greatest just good. I live in Minnesota and my wife and I constantly send pictures to my parents digital frame in Texas within seconds. New photo comes in it’ll ding or beep or whatever you want it to do. We have ours shut off just because we find that kind of annoying. You can edit what pictures are on what pictures are off. Send pictures whatever you wanna do there that’s awesome. We did learn that this is done through the Frameo app so you will need a smart phone or something for it. I have not done any digging at all to know if you can or not, but you could try to see if you can use your laptop if you choose to store photos on there or if your old school and don’t have a smart phone. I would say give it a shot cause if you can do it all different ways, these are definitely worth getting. We are currently in the talks of possibly getting a secondary one for another part of our house just so we can have photos everywhere.

Since I set up this device, I have been looking for any excuse to keep it, and not return it. It looks good, and the idea is great. However, the more I consider the dilemma, the more convinced I am that it must be returned. The performance is deplorable. The screen is not bright or sharp enough. Just dull. In fact, 720p is brighter and sharper than this. Very limited and perhaps useless settings. I cannot access the contents of the SD Card from the device itself. It claims to have a motion sensor, but there is no setting for it, and the motion sensor (if it really has any) does not work at all. It fails to meet my needs and the purpose of my purchase. I will return it and perhaps get the Amazon Echo Show 21 instead. UPDATE: Since I left my 2-Stars rating, the Seller and Manufacturer diligently communicated with me his ernest efforts to resolve the issues to my satisfaction. And he did. He has been very courteous, diligent, compassionate, and professional in all the emails back and forth. He also sent me a new digital frame. I just received the new digital frame. I haven't set it up yet; but, even if the new digital frame were to have all of the issues I complained about, I would still give my 5-Stars because of the excellent and nonpariel customer service that I received.

First, love the frame. A few challenges to get the photos to the frame but comes with clear and accurate instructions. I truly like that I can send photos to my mom who lives 2 provinces away from me. Very handy. But the. I ran into an issue - after a few months the frame went into reboot mode. I began troubleshooting with their tech department and it was determined that the frame had a terminal internal software issue. They offered a replacement and within a few days I had a new frame on my door step. I am extremely impressed with their customer service and how they stood behind their product. Five stars all around.

I purchased this frame 2 times. First time was 21 July 2024, and second time 2 December 2024. One of the best feature the frame had was the that the screen auto turned off after certain time, 2 mins to 4 hours. The first frame had that feature, but the second frame I bought the company got rid of that feature. NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT 😡. Worse thing is the seller still have that description in the product details. I don't like to have the screen on for hours and hours.

Leider nur per Amazon US zu bekommen, spricht man braucht einen passenden Stromadapter. Die Software Frameo könnte noch verbessert werden (nur 10 Bilder gleichzeitig. Galerie vereint immer alle Bilder des Telefons, sprich keine Ordnerunterteilung oder Sortierfunktionen usw.). Der Bilderrahmen selbst ist schön gross und damit auch seniorenrauglich. Der Bewegungssensor funktioniert auch sehr gut.
