Kuhn Rikon Pull Chop, Manual Food Chopper with Pull Cord, Small/475ml

Utterly amazing and so simple. You can create big chunks to almost pulp in 1 to 10 easy pulls on the 'starter handle' You have the container which is fairly large 3 onions easy, the cutting blades, 2 ultra sharp blades on a centre post, which at top and bottom has a plastic blade to help push the items being chopped back into the centre, which fit firmly into the container, then then lid with the starter handle type pull cord. Everything fits together really well, feels strong and sturdy. So pop in the items you want to chop or pulp (in fairly big chunks (onions maybe quarter, carrot 3-4" pieces etc..) drop on the lid then pull the handle outwards, not much pressure needed and observe. Depending how fine you want the items, depends on the number of pulls, this carrot went from sizeable chunks to fine in just 7 pulls, with virtually no effort. Sure this will chop all your requirements - really pleased as it'll save loads of time the next time I do a bolognese mix, chilli mix, all sorts of things. No electric needed, just a quick pulkl on the handle, which is comfortable and easy to grip. Be careful washing the blades as they are sharp, but they wash off really easy, like the rest of the unit. Well worth the money, wasn't really convinced as I bought it, but trusted the reviews and certainly not disappointed.

It's quite expensive for what it is, but feels like it'll last. Fantastic for all manner of things. Any kind of salad for instance. Chopping nuts, tomatoes, cucumber, onions and more with ease. Just a few tugs and you're done. Super quick. Great for avocado toast. Very sharp! Nice, light and compact, so you do have to chop large onions, for instance, into quarters first. Wouldn't be without it now!

Always apprehensive about buying kitchen equipment as it can end up being more trouble than it’s worth to use. This is fantastic. Easy to use & wash & especially good for making salsas, chilli & spaghetti sauces that require finely chopped vegetables. What used to take me 20-25 minutes now takes 5. This & a mandolin slicer have made cooking preparation much easier & quicker & less laborious so worth every penny to me.

Great product. Suggested by chat gpt when asked for a great veggie chopper without much hassle of cleaning. Only downside would be that small amounts of garlic not minced thoroughly but I am sure larger amounts will be. I have not tried all the possible functions yet such as salsa etc. I was only interested in getting things like carrots and onions chopped finely quickly.

Excellent can’t be without it

Robust and well made - works extremely well and a really useful bit of kitchen kit. Extremely good for breadcrumbs and nuts as you can control easily how finely you chop, which you can't always with electric versions. Easy to use and easy to clean.

Beautiful as expected as I had one before . It came on time for me to wrap up for Christmas. It’s a very easy to work and the results are amazing . I’m a chef and this chopper has saved my bacon many times over. Thanks.

I love to use this whenever I can despite my partner saying I could have done it just as quick by hand, there is something rather satisfying about this device as those three very sharp blades do their thing.

Fantastic machine, super easy to use and clean.

I have only used this so far, on dicing onions, which was excellent, and a few fresh basil leaves. As there were very few basil leaves to chop, I did not expect too much, but was pleasantly surprised that it did a really good job, considering the very few leaves the chopper had to work with, and being so light in weight. I do recommend this brand, and I am glad that I also bought the bigger size.

Small, yet very effective

Very happy that I found this. I bought it in 2022 and it’s still in very good condition. The blades are still sharp although they were extremely sharp when I bought it. It’s better now as it’s easy to clean now without the fear of cutting my finger :) Highly recommend this amongst other choppers.

This is an excellent unit. it does chopping with ease. However, don't put in hard vegetables whole, cut them into smaller pieces first. Will have years of service. Great product.
