Tesla Wall Connector - Electric Vehicle (EV) Charger - Level 2 - up to 48A with 24' Cable

I installed this in my garage for my Tesla and it’s honestly one of the best upgrades I’ve made to the car. The biggest thing is charging speed. This thing is fast. I can plug in overnight and wake up to a full charge without even thinking about it. It adds a ton of range per hour compared to a standard outlet, which makes daily use way more convenient. (It can add up to ~44 miles of range per hour depending on setup) The build quality is excellent too. It feels solid and well-made, not like some of the cheaper third-party chargers. The cable is thick but still flexible, and the whole unit has that clean Tesla design that actually looks good mounted on the wall. Installation does require an electrician, but it’s pretty straightforward. Once it’s in, it just works. The Wi-Fi connectivity and app integration are nice bonuses—you can monitor charging, schedule it, and manage everything from your phone. Another thing I really like is how seamless it is with the car. You just plug it in and it handles everything automatically—no messing with settings every time. If I had to nitpick anything, it’s the upfront cost plus installation, but honestly, it pays off quickly in convenience alone. Overall, if you own a Tesla and charge at home regularly, this feels like a must-have. It’s reliable, fast, and just makes owning the car easier.

This is the second time I've bought this same charger. First one is still working (a year later). This thing is the real frickin' deal. You'll need 6AWG wire, a 60A breaker (and an electrician) and some conduit/EMT. The wire and breaker will cost another $250-300, if you're going about 50 feet from the box. This can be installed out in the elements. The 24 foot cable is fantastic. The amperage setting will vary, from 12A-48A (though not sure why you would charge at 12A). It can add about 44 miles of range per hour to your Tesla. The Tesla app will control this, will set charging schedules (I do not allow this to charge during peak pricing from the utility). This has a built in GFCI, so you won't zap yourself in the wet weather. I do not have these vehicles, but there was an update in late 2025 on this unit so you can use to charge an F150 Lightning or Rivian. It's also got a 4 year warranty. I chose to buy from Amazon (through Tesla) vs. other bidding sites (where this is cheaper) so I would have a warranty and not an open box/refurb where the warranty may not apply. Didn't seem worth it to save $80. Some people complain about wifi issues. I've never had a single issue. I have bought one...now two of these. They're great!

Great product! I purchased Cadillac Lyriq and was searching for a home charging system. I looked into GM’s charging system which was twice as much as the Tesla. And other units made me a little bit nervous because I was concerned about reliability. The unit looks amazing, and works as advertised. I would recommend having a licensed electrician do the work.

So nice having a Level 2 charger at home. Charging is fast and effortless, and I never have to think about it. Clean look, works perfectly, and just makes owning an EV so much easier.

Ive owned a tesla for a few years. I have mostly used the wall plug to charge it. I had been considering upgrading to this charger for a long time, and I gotta say it was definitely the right choice! My car is now charging 10x faster and I am not even getting full output yet. Install is electrical work but its pretty easy. I got the wrong fuse so I had to go back out, but if I hadnt, I think it would have taken about 2 hours to install. It is incredibly easy to use; plug and play. The quality is great. I havent had any heat issues. While I wouldnt recommend buying a tesla in general, I do endorse this charger!

Word of Caution. This charger is not compatible with vehicles in UAE. The plug type is different to what fits in to Teslas available in UAE.

I have ordered this item for my new car, which arrived on the day after my return deadline. To find out this charger is only compatible in the USA. I’m not living in the UK and completely stuck with this item.. I’m really not sure why which item is available in the UK Amazon store if this is not a compatible item with UK EVs (Tesla) and I’m not £400+ down the drain and cannot return the device. Completely out of pocket and stuck with this item! This item should be removed from the UK Amazon store to prevent further issues.
