– HeyLO Low Carb Lighter White Keto Bread, 2 x 300g 1.3g Carbs

Oh wow this bread is so good. I’d tried a few batches of 90 second microwave mug bread but revolting each time. Saw the Heylo range and though it’s expensive I thought I’d try it. It arrived yesterday and I tried a single slice of toast. For ‘me’ it’s pretty much like regular white bread!! Soft, toasts nicely, tastes delicious toasted. Today I made a cheese and ham toastie. I don’t count the butter, Gouda cheese and ham as they’re all virtually no carb. So just 2 net grams of carbs for this toastie (I allow myself 20g net carbs for my keto metrics)? Unbelievable. Almost too good to be true. The only catch I can see is that it’s NOT GLUTEN FREE. So if you’re gluten intolerant or coeliac it’s no good for you. I do feel a little ‘bloated’ relatively since I ate the toastie about half an hour ago but I haven’t had any gluten intolerant my diet for a couple of months. I’ll freeze this bread and have toasties etc sparingly. If it means I can have a toastie or a bacon sarnie rather than ordering a dirty McDonalds etc it’s an absolute win. I’m flying tomorrow - extremely early flight - so I’m going to make up some cheese, ham, mustard mayo sandwiches for the flight so I don’t have to resort to the carby rubbish served up by the airline. As you can probably tell, I’m a big fan and absolutely recommend this bread (I’ve only tried the white)

Well , I’m pretty fussy and I wasn’t expecting this to be amazing I thought at best it would be ok , I’m following a very low carb diet and bread is the thing I miss the most ! I have to say this is in my opinion is a total game changer! Yes it’s expensive yes it’s smaller slices than a standard loaf but it tastes great and I like the texture of the bread also , I’ve frozen One loaf for toast the other I’m ploughing through and not feeling guilty !

If you are desperate for bread you can try it but it tastes nothing like white bread, do not buy it if you're looking for a 'tastes no different' option. It tastes VERY different. It has a disgusting aftertaste like metal which no seasoning, filling or cooking method covers in any way shape or form, the taste destroys the flavour of anything you put with it. Even a mountain of cheese and toasting within an inch of its life could save the slices from the disgusting taste that rips through the sandwich. You could fry the thing in lard and the tears of God and it wouldn't taste even remotely 'alright'.Also, my packs went moldy after a week of being stored in a dry cupboard in sealed bags. My batch didn't arrive damaged or contaminated so as far as I know this is just the way the bread is. I'd rather eat gravel. The bread is chewy and gummy and sprang back to its shape after being smushed and the bread loaf itself is tiny. The slices are nowhere near even half the size of a regular slice of bread. Overall it's awful quality for the high price. Avoid like the plague.

Being on the Keto diet, I was craving bread. So I’d heard about cloud break but couldn’t be bothered making it so looked to see if I could find some. I found this.Did it curb my craving for a bacon sandwich? No. Didn’t curb my craving for toast and butter? No. Was it a decent substitute for toast on an English breakfast? Yes. Would I buy it again? No. Doesn’t work as break, almost works as toast. Not for me.

This bread is very nice keeps very fresh and it lasts quite a long time I’ve enjoyed eating it it’s quite easy to digest and I would recommend it but I don’t think it warrants £15 for bread. Don’t think I’ll be buying this again the price is too high thank you

I came here to say... Oh my fudging god.Been on keto 3 years, made various lists which are too much hassle. Bought all the just common types of keto bread. They are fine, some of them just too thin or dry to be functional, they just disappear like a couple of crisps in your mouth.I got two loaves two days ago and nearly finished the first loaf because I can't stop eating it. It's like going back in time whem I could buy a very naughty white sliced loaf of fresh bread and it would be so good you could eat it with just butter on it. You could squish it, dip it in soup, toast it, make a cheeky chicken or cheese sandwich and it is so soft it really works.I'm poor, so what I suggest to those who find this pricey, is that you should get it for the freezer and keep it as a treat. When you've got a cold and need soup and bread, or just feel too tired to cook, or want a treat, going on a picnic... It's so good to have thisThe slices are on the small side but not as small as other well known brands. This product, is simply amazing. You will not regret buying it, but you might find it hard to save it for treats. But since I've found keto wrap recipes I won't need to have this special bread too often.This is a genuine message from a Scotts menopausal woman with M.E who's on keto because it provides better energy and stops me getting fat when I can't move much.
