Hubby was used to drinking coffee with chicory in New Orleans and was missing it in Ca. I found this chicory, added it to his coffee and he is back in the French Quarter every morning.

This batch of Chicory Roasted Root is completely unusable!
I buy a lot of Starwest botanical herbs and they're usually great, however, this last purchase of chicory roasted root tasted so bad that it's completely unusable. Emailed them without any response or restitution. I've enjoyed chicory roasted root for many many years from them, sadly not the case this time.

Great way to get more coffee enjoyment without the jitters
I've been buying chicory for several years. I can only take a little caffeine, but enjoy the ritual of drinking a couple of cups of coffee each morning. I use 1/3 each of chicory, coffee and roasted dandelion root. I use 2 level teaspoons of each and make about 20 ounces of coffee. A 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon makes it especially tasty.
