Obey Me! The Comic Vol. 1

I preordered this back in July, and am so happy to finally have it. It’s such a great adaptation of the original game’s storyline. The art is great, and I love the colored pages! So pretty!Many have already addressed this, but to again clarify, THE BOOK IS NOT PRINTED BACKWARDS. I am so upset at the 1 star review as it has nothing to do with the book, but with the person not knowing what they were buying. This is an amazing book and I can’t wait for vol. 2. Anyone that knows what manga is will know that Japanese manga is read right to left.I definitely recommend this to anyone even if you haven’t played the game. You do not need any previous knowledge from the game as it appears that this adaptation follows the main story and does not leave anything out so it is easy to follow the story without any prior knowledge. And if you enjoy the manga I definitely recommend the games as well. :)Note: There is a bit of fan service in this. Which is good by me but not for younger audiences, this is rated for teens 13+ for a reason.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE OBEY ME ITS THE BEST GAME EVERRRRR, but is this a canon book? Because im a bit confused with the whole “Ibuki” mess not because I care but I thought Mc could be any gender, I’m female so I don’t have any bad thoughts about it I love it so much and the art is great im just asking on behalf of a friend, wouldn’t the title “lamb or little lamb” or even “mc” have sufficed? Great book!

I LOVE Obey Me! And Obey Me! Nightbringer. I’ve been addicted to both games since the summer of last year and log in everyday to play.Now for those who don’t read Japanese comics, manga (which is what it’s called in Japan) is usually read from right to left and not left to right like in America and other countries. Now for the manga itself? It’s one of the best mangas I’ve read in 2023.The Mangaka, Nitou Subaru managed to capture the characters in the game beautifully and added on to their quirky personalities that would make any Obey Me! Fan say: “Yeah, they would so do that!” Another thing I liked about this story is it adds onto the story of the game that we couldn’t really get more in depth of since the game itself is a mobile game, so the writing is limited to an extent.The Main Character of the game is normally the player and the developers represent the player as a small pink sheep who uses nonbinary terms (they/them) since the devs want the player to use their imagination on their version of the Main Character. In this story, the Main Character is a small, pink sheep who uses nonbinary terms and has no memory of their life (including their real name) before arriving into the Devildom (where the story takes place).The artwork for the series is also really well done and you can tell was a labor of love from Nitou Subaru themselves! After I finished the manga, I wrote to them over on Twitter to let them know I thoroughly enjoyed the volume and couldn’t wait for volume 2 to come out. (Even got a response!)Overall, if you’re an Obey Me! Fan, this is a perfect addition to any Obey Me! Collection!Also wish to add there’s some fan service in this so it’s not suitable for a younger audience.

Omg!!! This is awesome!!! It follows the general storyline as presented in the mobile otome game Obey Me! (You are a human exchange student in the Devildom. To survive and thrive, you are to befriend ((and perhaps seduce)) a group of demons, an angel, and a fellow human though tons of misadventures. The MC in the manga is an amnesiac, gender neutral (they / them), adorable & tiny, savvy, sheep!The manga goes a bit more in depth about life and school at the Royal Academy of Diavolo (RAD for short) as well as adds some more depth into each character. I absolutely adore this! It's hysterical! It's heartwarming! And I've already preordered volume 2! Eeeeeeeee!!!

I am a bit late on the uptake of this comic, but since it is unavailable at my Local Bookstore, and Local Online Shopping sites, I decided to take it. Plus it is much cheaper.
