My first barefoot shoes (love them!)
I love these shoes!!!They feel really nice on the feet. Very comfortable. The treading on the bottom of the soles is good for slip resistance. This is my first pair of barefoot shoes I've ever gotten and I truly didn't know what to expect. Bluntly put, they are a little ugly on the fashion side if you compare them to modern shoes, but you get used to the look. They grow on you. There's about a half inch of extra toe space if you get the size appropriate for you — so based on how much extra toe space you like, I'd size up/down half a size for your preferred fit. I am very happy with the quality of these shoes and I'll be buying another pair if mine ever wear out.

Most slip resistant water or cross trainig shoe I have
Most slip resistant water or cross training shoe I have. I can pour water on my vinyl floor and step in puddle and not slip. The heel slip is a bit more than I like. But the rubber outer sole makes up for it. I would rather have minor loose feel in the heel and ankle rather than slip on the slightest damp surface. Easy to rinse of and the black hides any stains.I really like this shoes design and functionality.

NOT FOR RUNNING
These shoes are great for what they are and well-worth the price. Go with the description: THEY ARE GREAT FOR HIKING, TRAINING, SWIMMING (apparently). They offer a lot of toe space which you feel at the end of your walk/hike, and that's all there is too it. I still prefer to walk barefoot but will be keeping these for small-fit size in luggage for hiking when I travel. So, why 4 stars and not 5?THESE SHOES ARE NOT FOR RUNNING.I bought them thinking they COULD BE, since a) the description said they were in the title, and b) many reviews said so as well.Going with basic knowledge here, I understood my suspicion when I tried them out for a 2 mile run (and as an avid runner, whose ran marathons) I immediately felt the ache of chin-splits coming on, which I haven't had in YEARS; and it was due to running on hard pavement with shoes that offer NO HEEL or ANKLE support, in line with no cushioning for your knees should you keep running the distance. I immediately had to stretch and still feel it. It definitely felt lacking in that momentum area, where say.. Nike shoes give you that nice bounce, boost, and rhythm when running. All in all = worth the price and flexibility.

Fantastic shoe
These shoes are great. I have bought a few pairs now. They are light weight, comfortable and priced great. I used for weight training and casual walking. I wouldn’t recommend for running because of impact and not enough padding. Haven’t used in water yet but I will use next time I paddle board. Should be helpful.

$29 not a disaster.
For barefoot-sneakers like this (which are meant to make you feel as if you’re wearing nothing), there are very few factors to evaluate them on.I got this for $29 in early Oct 2024. I have used this for well over a dozen walks now. I am definitely enjoying the Velcro. My 1st walk (all my walks/hikes are 1.5-2 hrs long) was a bit painful. It was pinching the natural-fold under the front-sole of my feet. PERSONAL OPINION: I think "hiking" style shoe-soles with "spikes" are a BAD idea for such "barefoot shoes". These soles for such shoes should be simpler and "featureless".FYI - My feet stink very easily. So, I am required to use Dr. Scholl’s odor-eaters in all of my footwear. I forgot to insert those odor-eaters for my 1st walk. The 2nd time I wore these sneakers, I put in these odor-eaters. That made the difference - re: any pain. With colder temperatures now, with Costco's woolen-socks, there's even more comfort.By the 4th walk, I think the "spikes" of the Sole got worn out and it was somewhat comparable to the reasonable brand-name like "Whitin", which sells for around $44. Also, there is a tiny stitching-deviation on the right sneaker, that causes the metal-hook for the Velcro to turn 90° and make a mess of the velcro (but, there's a simple & reversible easy fix that you need to do everytime). The last “evaluation factor” is to wash these barefoot-sneakers. The "Whitin" brand was meant to be washed; So, I will soon find out if these will withstand a simple wash in a bucket.I get paid well to afford the extra $15 to buy Whitins the next time around - independent of whether these are truly REPEATEDLY washable.

Bang for buck shoes! GET THEM CALFS
Had it for 2 days and running with them is a game changer, comfy and very light. Has good build quality. I will return and update this comment if anything comes up. But HIGHLY recommend get one size bigger. Example im a 7.5 and 8 is perfect. My brother is a 9 and a 9.5 is perfect.

Amazing Water Shoes
These water shoes are a great choice for anyone tackling rocky water environments. The sizing is good, offering a snug yet comfortable fit. The lace-up design is really helpful, allowing you to adjust the tightness for a secure fit. The rubber outsoles, reinforced toe cap, and sturdy sole provide good grip. They dry relatively fast, making them ideal for frequent water-to-land transitions.

Good price and comfy enough to work in the yard.
I bought this product to work in my yard. I found it to be ugly but didn’t buy it for its looks. Comfortable to wear doing outdoor projects. Flexes little and I find it to be stable doing yard work. It has great grip/traction.
