Such a Brilliant phone
i ordered two of these for me and my partner and we are both really happy with them the battery life will last around 2 days without having to plug it in and the camera quality is amazing there is good camera stabilisation as well.this phone comes with two 12MP cameras (front and back) and this is really good for photos and selfies.it takes two nano sims and also an Micro SD card and this will give you more than enough space for your photos and apps as it comes with an amazing 16GBs worth of storage built inonly one fault with this phone is that there is not much water protection in the speaker port but as long as you do not go outside in pouring rain with it in your hand you should be fine.

Best specced budget smartphone
Best specced budget smartphone , nice feel and has a metal anodised body, included are all the sensors I need such as Geomagnetometer compass and Gyro which no other phones in this price bracket have , this means outdoor apps will work well as will VR headsets and VR apps, 16 gig is on the small side but its enough if you dont need hundreds of apps, good screen , camera is adequate in well lit scenes , not so good in low light, fingerprint sensor is really handy for securing the phone , speaker sound quality is OK but not as good as some , all in all a really good for the money

Great quality.
Am still getting used to this phone but it feels great. It was easy to go contactless which is what I bought it for.

Fair phone for a fair price.
Very pleased so far. I am basing my review against my old phone which was well past it's sell by date. All I can say is that I find the j5 responsive, clear to use and with a very sharp screen image. This may sound shallow but I chose the light blue model which is totally too cool for school! At less than a third of the cost of a lot of the 'top phones', doing just about everything well, it must be said it is very good value for money.

Absolutely Useless As A Phone
I purchase this phone on Amazon from CityService-UK, having ha a Blackberry phone for nearly 20 years, and having been perfectly happy with it. I was forced to buy another phone, when switching from BT broadband to Plusnet, my broadband was accidently switched off for three days, and this meant that the signal to my Ring Doorbell and chimes disappeared, and unbeknownst to me, Ring had been sold to Amazon, and this meant for some reason that Microsoft no longer supported their products. When my broadband came back on, my Ring devices were no longer recognised, either by my Blackberry phone or by my Microsoft tablet, and I was advised by Ring that because they had been sold and Microsoft were no longer supporting their products, my devices disappearing now meant that they would be classed as 'new' products, so they could not be readded to either my Blackberry phone, or my Microsoft tablet, and I would have to get a new phone in order to use them. This was obviously ridiculous, but I kid you not, this was in fact the case. Since I am disabled and seriously ill, and relied on my Ring doorbell, I was therefore forced to find a solutionI therefore decided to buy this Samsung phone, to use as a handset for my doorbell, and as a back up phone. I ordered the phone and set up my Ring devices with it, and all seemed to be working well. However, approximately a month later, and too long afterwards to return it, when I then left home with it for the first time and tried to check my Ring app, I discovered that the phone brought up an error stating that it could not connect to the network. I had not previously noticed this, because obviously indoors it was connected to my home wifi. I then investigated this error, and found it to be ridiculously common to Samsung phones, with literally thousands of people online searching for solutions. I have tried every one of these solutions, over months and months, including a complete factory reset, and absolutely nothing will get this phone to perform its one basic function, which is to be a phone and connect to a network. I have also taken it into various phone shops and no one else can suggest anything helpful either, other than to get a new phone, and to avoid this manufacturer in future.I am astonished that this manufacturer can produce phones, and with this level of malfunction, and still be in business. I could not and would not ever recommend a Samsung phone to anyone. This is not a cheap throwaway phone, it is not in fact, a phone at all, based on its performance and usefulness as a product, but clearly this error, and it is a major one, is not an isolated one, and no manufacturer should be selling phones unless they have resolved it. Clearly they have not, and that makes buying any phone from them a gamble, and one I would never have taken had I been aware of the level of malfunction of this product, before I purchased it. I am writing this review so that you can be aware where I was not. Search 'cannot connect to network' or 'network not found' error on Samsung phone to see what I mean.

Excellent Dual SIM Mobile
I needed a dual SIM phone as I spend a lot of time travelling between England & Republic of Ireland. I was fed up carrying two phones. This phone does the job really well & was very easy to set up, it also comes with a storage card space which is a bonus as many dual sim phones do not have this. The phone was put to the test immediately & is working well. The colour is different to standard black & easy to see in the depths of a bag.Phone arrived well within estimated delivery time.I am very pleased with my first dual SIM phone & it has made my life easier.

Great phone, well worth the money.
Marvellous phone, brilliant given it's not part of a flagship series. Good battery life, quick processor for what I use it for, and great camera. Battery isn't removable, which so far has only been a problem the one time in 4 months it's frozen. Literally only downside I've found is that the back cover is so silky it's hard to hold onto; I nearly dropped it so many times until I got a case. Accessories are easy to find too.
