I love masks, they are a favorite part of my skincare routine. I have hormonal acne and maturing skin that is dry. I use this mask two times per week before a shower, as it is easier to rinse in the shower because of the granules left on the skin. This mask is easy, just add water and apply. I like to leave it on for a full 15 minutes, I like how it makes my skin feel like it's getting a face-lift as it dries down. It did break me out at first. That is typical for me when I try something new on my face. It hasn't irritated my skin or anything like that but I did get a few pimples, which again, is very normal for me. This mask feels nice, my only issue is that it is a bit difficult to remove unless you're in the shower because it does have granules similar to thick sand or dirt that are hard to wipe off. That's my only complaint. As for performance, it performs well, it makes my skin feel smooth and soft and gives me a healthy glow. I really enjoy it. My breakouts are healing and I haven't had any new breakouts so that's telling me that this will work for my skin. If something disagrees with my skin I keep breaking out and I am not with this mask. Overall, great mask.

In the beginning I wasn't using it daily and now that I'm using it more often I'm noticing the difference faster so I hope to update this review within the next two weeks to show my results! I have noticed that after 15 minutes my face is pretty itchy from the drying of the mask. However it does not look like an allergic reaction because my skin is not red or irritated once I rinse it off only itchy after about 10 to 12 minutes.

This was my first time hearing of this ingredient but I like powder clay mask and decided to try it. The powder had a herbal scent to it. I poured out a scoop or two of powder. Using a few drops at a time, I mixed in the water to form a paste. I applied it to my face and went to lie down. When the mask is still wet, it does have a tendency of dripping if it's too watery or too much is applied. Try to use as little powder and liquid as needed because the first time I had made a clay mask years ago, I made a huge batch thinking I could save it for tomorrow. The mask will solidify/dry out. So, I recommend starting off with a small amount and adding more as you go.
