Best 3d accessory
Absolutely love that it fit right on my 3d printer. Very easy to set up and came with qr code for instructional video as well. Great for 3d enthusiasts

Nice laser module
I did not put this kit on a 3d printer as it was designed to be used. I put it on a custom frame and mount I built myself. It was nice to get the module and the control box as a package deal. It's working great so far. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the little stepped tool used for focusing the laser. I'm more of a fan of another brands flip down, kick stand style focus tool. That aside I am happy with this kit.

Great for Hobbiest
I like this laser as a hobby laser. I do wish it engraved metal better however, I did buy it for leather patches in which it does a wonderful job. Simple to use and set up!

Total headache and did not work at all
First off: The instructions say to update the firmware. The SD card supplied is not formatted correctly to update firmware. It is 512 packets when it actually needs to 4096 packets. This a common issue with "3D printers".Second: The controller did not accept the firmware update (I tried both format types) BTW the name of this engraver is Falcon. I get 3 beeps then a pause then one more beep, then it chirps like the power was cut off. It is suppose to stop beeping after update but it still beeped an hour after I started the update.Thirdly: the install of the wires was straight forward and minimal frustration was encountered.4th: When the gcode was on the sd card and I pressed the start button: the machine shook abruptly and loudly with out the laser coming on. It scared the dogs, it was so loud.

Hard to figure out
Many of the problems I have are mostly due to not knowing what I am doing. So honestly it seems like it’s doing it’s job. I did a couple of engraving using lightburn. I’m excited it worked. I gave it 4 stars only because it seems to pull my z axis down, but again that might be my fault because I am new still, but knowing what I know about this product, I would buy it again, it’s a lot of fun

Used it once and the thing burned up the electronics
After trying the Lazer it fryed my printer. After that the Lazer won't shut off to do travel moves. May be user error but would have been nice to actually use this thing more.
