napoli swivel recliner brown leather effect massage chair round base footstool

This chair is very easy to put together. I am a flat pack queen so that helps, but I had a back operation on the Monday and on the Friday when this was delivered I had it put together in an hour and a half (1.5hours) I did it sitting on the sofa using my large footstall to balance things on. I did not need two people to help but I could see how that may help. I just did it with the chair lying on its side! The only thing I would say is that putting the runner on was the hardest part as the wooden holes were smaller than the clips going in as the pegs had 4 buttresses on them. I am afraid I used a hammer and some strength for this part. It was not the push in, then push home easy description implied. The pegs made indents in the wood when first hit, showing the disparity. However if you do this carefully and hit straight so you don't buckle the glider it did not take more than 10 minutes for me to fit the glider which still glides perfectly. This was the hardest part for me. Maybe a man would have better strength to push the pegs home. However as long as you follow the instructions and don't rush and make sure you have the right length bolt for each bit (there are different length bolts in the same sealed pouch that you need to be aware of) you should find this simple and straightforward to complete in under 2 hours. The friend who can around to help me assemble it had tea instead and admired it. Due to my back injury neither of my sofas were comfortable to sit on. Now I am comfortable and the massage and heat action is wonderful.

This is a very good chair, but it did take a little putting together on receipt. At times it would have been useful to have a little help from another person, and in fact the instructions do mention having help from another in a couple of places.

What a chore putting it together - when you recline there is a gap thus cold back,

Terrible quality - less than two months since purchase and the stitching has already come away from the stool.I won't be buying this again from Amazon or probably anything else!!!

Bought this chair as getting up from my sofa hurts my back. Chair was well packaged and went together easily. I found the instructions easy to follow and built it myself with no assistance in about forty minutes. When I first sat in the chair i was a little disappointed. Its quite hard in the lower back area. Reclining is not smooth and the swivel action is grinding. I also was disappointed in the finish of the chair which I feel is very unlike real leather and is cheap looking. time will tell how it wears. Unexpectedly the massage function is quite good and the heat function is really nice. During the massage the chair is noisy. However the chair does grow on you and I've been using it since I built it. I've found it does soften a little with wear and may become even better with age. Good news is I can rise from it without irritating my bad pain. Before buying this chair I tried a few similar chairs in stores and found them extremely comfortable and some were cheaper although they did not have the massage function.Lastly I found some chairs that were described as dark brown in reality they were more of a cherry colour. This chair is definitely dark brown. Chair is well built but loses one star for leather quality and one star for comfort.I'm 6ft 1 and the have no problem with the back height

Really fantastic value for money on this high specification reclining chair. Looks great and very comfortable.

Instructions a little lacking but I worked it out taking my time. Took an hour to take pieces upstairs [5 trips] and put the stool together . Chair took nearly 2 hours a bit tricky for average female with mobility problems, the chair was a little difficult to attach to the base as you have to lift and hold the chair to slot into position [easier with 2 people] and a couple of screws were very difficult to put in . I took my time so it wouldn't take this long for everyone.The chair is low but not obvious when using stool but maybe too low for some with mobility problems or taller people. Seat not very deep or wide but ok for most average sized person. The massage is ok and varied programs ok. Timer is from 30mins but on/off button has to be used to shorten time. I wouldn't recommend starting at 30 mins as I found it too much. The middle back massage is more prominent than the others I feel and protrudes making it a little uncomfortable, I use a cushion. Well packed and I got next day delivery which was great. Parcel quite big and I think would be a little tricky for some to move,I slid it to move it a short distance. The swivel runner is plastic and may be a weak point, time will tell. UPDATE plastic runner does wear at times when swivelled leaving thin shavings on the floor but otherwise seems ok. FURTHER UPDATE runner snapped just after 1 year so not under guarantee contacted supplier who will supply spare part for a small payment. Still in use with a limited swivel.

I got this chair for my therapy room as an added bonus for clients if they want to try it. It's very comfy and I often go and lie on it to give myself a treat. I wouldn't say it was easy to assemble - the fixing holes on the inside of the seat were filled up with filler and appeared not to be there. A screwdriver quickly removed the filler. All in all great value for money and next day delivery a surprise.
