Pentalic Sketch Book, Hardbound, 8-1/2-Inch by 11-Inch

This was bigger than I expected but that's even better as I plan to use it as a journal. This is excellent quality and the pages are thick. There are also enough pages for this to last a long time. It's perfect if you plan to carry this around with you as it's going to be durable. It will be able to take all the knocks and bumps you give it.It also arrived much quicker than the predicted time it gives after ordering. It said it would take 2 weeks to import, but I received it in 5 days.Well recommended for drawing or sketching!

Worth the extra bit of money. It's tough with heavy paper which is just what I wanted. It just feels 'quality.'I order it from the USA to the UK. That should tell you just how much I enjoy this sketchbook. I use it for journaling throughout a year. I order a new one now, every year as part of my Christmas list.

This is said to be 70lb, 114gsm paper. I ordered it as I have a 60 lb Pentalic sketchbook which I like, this is said to be 70 lb but is lighter weight paper. I could have bought this quality sketchbook much more cheaply locally. one corner of most pages is also bent. Very disappointing and a waste of money.

I got this as a sketchbook to keep on my small nightstand by the bed in case of late night ideas, or to be able to easily stick in a purse. It's a nice sturdy hardcover and didn't get damaged in shipping. The paper feels good (I generally use a pencil, I haven't tried mixed media yet). I actually prefer spiral bound at times because it's easy to lay flat and draw without having to hold it open. The pages are perforated so you can tear them out cleanly later if you want to, though I haven't tried it yet.

Easy to paint on and retains it's colors. Paper is sturdy but not too hard. Good purchase.

Great quality, perfect size. I gave this as a gift and it appeared to be a very high quality sketch book. Nice and sturdy and made with care. The cover is very nice and the paper is good quality.

Pros:Llego dos días antes de lo previsto.No llego dañado aunque el sobre donde venía tenía unos cuantos golpes pero es entendible.Las hojas son de buena calidad y las cubiertas muy resistentes.No se arruga tan fácilmente y si lo hace es muy mínimo (les recomiendo que después de secar den una capa de agua al otro lado y pongan presión durante unas horas, que como nuevo y no les gusta la hoja un poquito arrugada).El grano da un toque muy bueno a la hora de dibujar y el esparcimiento de la pintura con húmedo-húmedo es muy satisfactorio.Contras.El arillo no es tan fuerte, primer día que me lo lleve a un viaje ya una parte del arillo se había doblado y otro estaba a punto de abrirse pero solo apliquen un poco de fuerza para acomodarlos y quedan como nuevos.Comentario extra:Para su precio pensé que iba a ser más chico pero se gustó el tamaño (es uno poco más chico que una MacBook) por lo cual cabe perfecto y no queda enorme. No creo acabármelo pronto ya que hago ilustraciones pequeñas pero cuando lo haga lo volveré a comprar.
