Amazing aroma
A friend suggested that I try this coffee and I'm glad I did. I also bought a trial pack of three different varieties.Ethiopia Sudama is soft and balanced with a slight acidity, especially good for cappuccino. But what I like the most is the aroma, unique and enchanting, with notes of chocolate and vanilla.Highly Recommended!

No roast date
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Advertised as fresh but when I revived the bag there was only a sel by date, no roasted date.. a real shame because now I don’t trust it. Lots of info on the bag so why not just put the roast date unless it’s not fresh. Shame

Wonderful Coffee
Smooth, elegant, and very delicious coffee. The light roasting was done perfectly by these folks, which confirms Yirgacheffe as one of my favorite coffee bean varieties ever. The quality of the roasting was outstanding. But why not a full 5 stars? Only because of the cost. Good quality Yirgacheffe is always a bit pricey, specially if it comes from the right area and fair-wage considerations are taken into account. The thing is that I am able to obtain the same quality, if not better, and organic from a roasting outfit in Alaska for lower per pound price. The lower price for equally outstanding quality from a local roaster in Alaska (which I visit regularly) and shipped all the way to the East Coast from there, leads me to take one star from what quality wise is an outstanding product.

Excellent
Let me start by saying that I’m a coffee snob. I admit that. I like light roasted beans that brew a coffee that is almost tea like. I grind the beans using a spurr grinder, and I use a pour over process, with precise coffee weight (45g) and 1:16 water (720g). This coffee is excellent. It brews a nicely balanced cup that is not too light and not too dark. The flavor is very smooth. I am not good at giving the flavors, so I won’t even try. Suffice to say, it is an excellent cup of coffee.

False advertising
Falsely advertised as "fresh"-roasted but not even close. Roasted 47 days before delivery, a full month and a half, not "fresh." Light-roast freshness would be about 7-10 days off roast, industry-standard for advertising "fresh"-roast. Not 47 days. Just very misleading advertising.

The best light roast I’ve ever tried
Very flavorful and rich taste!! For sure has honey notes and no bitter burnt taste at all like it usually is in other brands of coffees. The smell of this coffee is amazing and very awakening, if you are coffee lover and really know what you are doing when you are choosing coffee you have to try it.Love it love it love it!
