Powerbuilt 2 Ton UniJack Combination Hydraulic Bottle Jack / Jackstand in 1 Unit, Compact, Portable, Wide Base, for Unibody Sedans, CUVs, SUVs, Cars, - 620470

I bought these because I need to work on the flex plate of my driveshaft, which will require removing the entire shaft. My vehicle doesn't have any places to set jacks or stands other than these square blocks underneath next to each tire. Therefore, I wouldn't really be able to jack it up and then also place it on stands. This product eliminates that issue, BUT for my vehicle, it's about 1 inch below the height of this jack, which means it won't work for me outright. However, I can use my ramps in the front, which will raise the backside enough to slide these into place, so no issues at all. These are a well engineered product that I will feel safe trusting to keep my car steady while working underneath. Just make sure to check your height profiles because these do sit fairly high from the start.

My vehicle ( Ford transit connect van) sits low to the ground making it almost impossible to do an oil change myself. I use these to jack up the front end of my vehicle high I enough for me to get under there. Because my vehicle is so low, I have to drive forward onto two small sections of two by fours I made just for this purpose. This raises the front end up so that these jacks will fit underneath. They’re about half an inch too tall otherwise but once they’re under there and locked in place, they work very well and feel very safe. I was able to do an oil change in about 20 minutes and saved myself all that waiting and over $100 and never really knowing for sure if they actually changed the filter. These things will pay for themselves in no time they are well made and a good price. They’re small and easy to store away when not in use. If I had 2 more, I could lift the entire vehicle off the ground safely and easily. Now that I have them, I’ll be safely changing oil and doing other repairs on all my vehicles .

...as the jack lifts our car, the jacking point shifts in the direction of rotation, so the jack "fights" from being rolled over in that direction. (If you were to use a floor jack you can readily see that as you increase the jacking height of the car, the floor jack is pulled inward on its wheels so it moves with the car.) I suppose one could place a five-wheeled furniture dolly underneath the jack to support it and allow it to move with the car, but that would substantially add to the cost of tooling; that, and finding furniture dollies capable of supporting something as heavy as a car.

Using my old multi-jointed knuckle-busting emergency scissor jack was difficult, awkward, flimsy, wobbly, unstable, and unsafe tediously hand-cranking my 2 Ton beast of a car up in the air to replace a flat tire. This gem of a product (like 'why didn't I think of that') effortlessly and securely hoisted that massive weight up with a few easy cranks. Built-in jack-stand held locked in place by simply inserting a pin while I safely worked on removing wheel fixing a flat using my 4-way tire lug (also an absolute must-have). Much, much more stable platform on pavement, dirt and gravel especially on the small inclines of a roadway. Totally different experience. BUT,.... **height and clearance** are an issue so 4.99 stars. Worked brilliant with my Honda CRV, but jack too tall to slip under my Chrysler minivan so get out your tape measure before you buy. Serious improvement.

Made a great addition to my 4 post lift. I have a runway jack for one end of a vehicle but wanted to be able to use the jack tray. They are great, Stable, Really like the fact that they lock in place so I don’t have to worry about them leaking down. Truck has been on lift for Two weeks without a worry.

As my Audi Q3 is a unibody vehicle, I jack it up by its pinch welds. Unfortunately, the pinch weld seems to be only about 6" long. As such, if I use it as a jack point, I cannot fit a jack stand at that spot. That being the case, I had to do recent wheel work relying solely on the provided OEM scissors jack and sometimes on my 2.5 ton floor jack. While searching for alternative safety measures, I came across this Powerbuilt All-in-1 Unijack bottle jack with built-in jack stand. Not only does this concept provide the safety I am looking for but it is actually much easier to use and more compact. * Note - Due to the way this is built, it will not be useable for a low clearance vehicle. The lift range is 8 5/8 - 18 3/6. The lift head is adjustable to accommodate higher lift vehicles. It does not come with a rubber pad so contact would be metal to metal, (I added a rubber pad to prevent any damaged to the pinch weld). As tested, my SUV with a curb weight of ~3900 lbs. was raised without any issue. I definitely recommend this for anyone whose vehicle is of a suitable height.

This is designed to work in place of a jack stand, a bottle jack or a floor jack offering something in addition to each of those. Unfortunately, this has limitations in each of the applications where you would have used those especially for automotive purposes. Like the rest of automotive industry that hasn't standardized on jack points, this unit has its own saddle design that is neither like a jack stand nor a floor jack nor a bottle jack. So, none of the third party pad adapters you can get for any of those will work. The pad offered by Powerbuilt itself doesn't fit the 2ton (4000lb) version despite the representation it does. So, you land up improvising the usual hockey puck or wood block or whatever to interface which makes the minimum height of this unit even more of a problem and less sturdy. The bent angles on the "stand" saddle will dig into things in the car it shouldn't otherwise without spreading the load. For most small cars, the minimum height is too high for use on the sides as might be needed for a tire change or a brake job. So, one will need to initially lift the vehicle with something else (what one might be trying to avoid in the first place). And one would need to have the car still lifted and held by something else while coming down so this unit can be removed first. The length and movement of the pump arm is such that the lifting is very, very slow and painful even for a sub 3000lb car. On the positive side, it did work as a bottle jack with an attached stand and an automatic lock that works. It has had no leaks so far in a couple of days of use. Where it will come in the most useful is to be able to lift the car much higher than a typical jack included with the car, and not require both a floor jack and a stand for that use. This can be made much more useful by providing common adapters that fits its saddle design for typical lift points (although it will make it too expensive if sold separately). If they can design an adapter that would be able to lift from a lower height with the unit standing outside of the car skirt, that would make it very useful and brilliant in design. Many cars come with side holes for the factory included jacks. This would be enough for a tire change operation better than the supplied jack and be portable. In summary, this is a good thing to have in addition to the factory jack for peace of mind without having to carry a separate jack stand or rely on the factory jack alone. Or if you need to lift and hold at a much higher height. But note that the total lift is only about 5". So if you want the max 18" height, you will have to start with an initial 13" height. So it isn't exactly ideal for either of those use cases given the limitations above.

I regret buying just one, used on my durango 2017, it fits perfect on the lift points, I but just one just to see if it fits, it had a good discount. After I used I was about to order the second one but it already went up. Hoint to wait to buy my second one

Ich bin mit dem Powerbuilt 620470 Unijack - 1814 kg Kapazität sehr zufrieden. Sehr gutes Gadget für SUVS wie Mercedes GLE, GLC oder GLS bzw BMW X3, X5 oder X7. Ich selbst habe es für meinen Mercedes GLE und Mercedes 123er verwendet. Man kann schnell und sicher am Auto arbeiten, egal ob Reifen-, Ölwechsel oder andere Arbeiten am/unterm Auto. Man spart sich das lästige Anheben mit dem Wagenhaber und anschließendem Absichern mit dem Unterstellock, da dieses Gadget beides (Wagenheber und Unterstellbock) in einem anbietet. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen.

Great Jack

Needed a jack that would lift up my Kona and this works perfectly. My other floor jacks just didn't have the height needed. My only issue, and this is my fault that I didn't notice, is that this jack is about a half inch to tall to fit under my car without having to use another floor jack to lift it up to get this jack under it. Not the end of the world but a slight inconvenience. Really like the built in jack stand also.

El un buen producto, funcional y la adicion de torre de seguridad con autobloqueo funciona bien y brinda una buena altura para levantar en menos movimientos de bombeo. Recomendable medir previamente la altura al piso restando el grosor de la llanta para saber si entrara bajo el vehículo. Este es para vehiculos con un buen despeje del suelo.

Awesome tool. Im sure i will get many uses out of it. Disappointed that it will not fit under my minivan though.
