Filter provides great flavor - Easier to clean than you might think
Love this for my pour overs. Notes: 1) CLARITY: If you use only the metal filter it lets enough oils and fines through to provide a rich flavorful cup (I love it), yet you can still get a nice clean cup if you are using a quality grinder and are careful when you pour to leave the fines in the bottom of the pot. A coarser grind helps. If you like a super-clean cup use a paper filter or maybe this won't be for you. If you like a muddy cup, just swirl the pot before pouring and you'll be in heaven. 2) EASY CLEANING: I thought this would be a pain to clean, but I have been pleasantly surprised! A simple rinse and quick dry with paper towel is all that is needed. I occasionally use soap, but most of the time just a rinse with hot water. Use a wooden spoon handle to carefully swirl paper towels in the bottom to wash the sides and dry all the water to prevent spots. It literally only takes a few seconds. I use only slight care not to get too much water on the outside, but it is not really an issue. The cork-like collar is water resistant and I have had no issues with water getting trapped under it or any problems whatsoever. I only remove the collar occasionally to make sure it's clean and it always is. Really....a quick rinse of the inside and dry and you're done. A breeze. 3) FRAGILITY: The pot does seem delicate and I doubt it will handle a hard bump, though I did whack it pretty good the first 10 seconds I handled it - and breathed a huge sigh of relief when it didn't break! I cringe a little every time I set it down on my granite counter and hear it strike, but so far so good. Be careful with it - you can't drop it and you can't bang it - it is what it is. Handle it with care and it will last. If mine breaks, I will buy another. I like the filter, the brew I get from it, the ease of cleaning and the capacity. Been my "go to" since I got it.

Best Coffee Maker out there
I have struggled with another brand that uses filters. I have to stand there and pull the filter up constantly. It takes me a good 10 minutes standing there messing with the filter just to get coffee through. This coffee maker is an absolute dream! I boil my water and pour over the coffee pot; it pours through as quickly as I can pour. And the taste and aroma are fabulous. I have seen $100 or more coffee pots that don't make coffee this fantastic. I totally recommend this little gem. Coffee taste wonderful!

Here’s why you’ll love this thing
I’m more of a hot tea person and I drink coffee maybe only 3-4x a year. I have just never been an avid coffee drinker and much prefer other means of caffeine if I need some. The need for caffeine usually comes only when I get severe headaches— and even then, I usually get a dose from migraine medication. Every once in a blue moon, though, I have an urge to drink coffee. Over the years, I’ve dealt with many a cumbersome coffee machine that I usually end up throwing out or giving away because it takes up too much space in my kitchen for as little as I use it. But then, every time I get that rare urge to drink coffee, I wish I’d had one again. One particular day a few weeks ago, I had that urge to drink coffee. I haven’t had a coffee machine in probably a good 3 years having given my last one away, so I figured I was out of luck. I don’t dare venture out into the public for a $5 cup of coffee I don’t need in the midst of a pandemic. I then remembered this adorable little coffee dripper I saw in a video I watched a while back. Though I’d never seen such a thing in person, I thought if any place would have some for purchase, it would be Amazon. Low and behold, Amazon did not disappoint. While browsing for a coffee dripper, I saw many different brands and styles. I ultimately settled on this one for a few different reasons. 1. The price is unbeatable 2. The reviews were plentiful and high 3. I like the sleek style with the cork 4. I prefer a coffee dripper that also comes with the glass carafe for a more all-in-one device. 5. It’s small and takes up hardly any space at all! Perfect for my needs. 6. The reusable filter When I received this coffee dripper, my expectations were exceeded. Though the device is pretty straight forward and self explanatory, it comes with very clear, thorough instructions about how to use and care for it. It comes with a handy coffee scoop and a lid to use on the top after your coffee is done brewing. The reusable filter is a huge bonus because it’s less waste and a money saver. The cork outer not only looks nice, but it’s easily removable for cleaning and it’s really great for insulation (no burned fingers!) It’s really well made and feels nice and sturdy, it’s also very easy to clean. No electricity needed, no need to wait forever for the coffee to brew. The top benefits, though, are that it produces some of the BEST tasting coffee I’ve ever had, and it’s compact so I can store it away easily until the next time I feel like some coffee— how ever long that may be. The bottom line is that I don’t think you’ll regret buying this. It’s wonderful to have!

I LOVE MINE!
I LOVE it! I bought mine in July 2025, and I have used it every day since then. I also use my Bodum bean grinder. PERFECT coffee every time, and no need for paper filters! Worth noting, I grind my beans to a fine grind, and there is still zero powder that passes through. Since we may be moving across the country soon, I thought I should put a new one in the cart and use the "save for later" feature, just in case of breakage. My mother and grandmother used the pour-over method, and I originally bought it for the nostalgia—but I am truly very happy with my purchase!

Amazing
I love this coffee maker, and I love how it makes me slow down and be in the moment. If you rush, you get watery coffee. If you take your time and appreciate the ritual, you get clean tasting coffee. I love that there's no plastic involved. Yes, it comes with a plastic scoop that seems to be about a heaping tablespoon. I have opted to use one of my wooden tablespoons instead, and it works just as well. There's a plastic lid piece that comes with this as well. I don't use it. The carafe pours perfectly fine without out. While some people have mentioned that the coffee gets cold, I have noticed that if you leave some in the carafe for after you've finished your first cup, the second cup is cold. However, I already own a tea warmer (see attached photo) and this coffee maker fits perfectly atop it, meaning I can keep my coffee at the ideal temperature. If that's your hangup with this coffee maker, I recommend getting one of those. I think mine was maybe $10. With that single modification, this is the perfect nontoxic coffee maker for me and I do recommend it.

Great coffee, SUPER FRAGILE…
Makes really good coffee, but if it gets bumps and falls over, it’s done. They break insanely easily. I have broke 3 just by accidentally bumping into it on the counter and it falls over and the top portion breaks off every time. They should make some kind of a stand for it so that it doesn’t fall over so easily. I wouldn’t buy it if it’s more than $20. Also get paper filters if you don’t like sediment in your coffee

The bowl shape at the bottom is genius.
Using a well-designed object is a joy and a pleasure to use. When something is well-designed, we don’t tend to notice because it just works. This is one of those objects. The design is wonderful. Someone thought about what would make a good pot for drip coffee, and then they made one. The bowl shape at the bottom is genius. When coffee is poured, the pot is horizontal and the fine grounds, those that make it through the filter, sink to the bottom of the bowl when you pour. They don’t end up in your cup. That’s all. No tricks. Just using gravity to make coffee better. The filter doesn’t clog. It works fast. I like making coffee one or two cups at a time. This is what it’s designed for. The removable cork is pleasing, and not fiddly to use. The pot is easy to clean. But the real genius here is the shape of the bowl. It just works.

Easy to Use, but Easy to Break!
The overall design is quite good; needs carefully handling as it is made of glass; overall it is a nice item :)
