Aquamarine glazed
Reviews should be for specific models. Purchased the glazed multi color model which leaks terribly. It'll be a trinket now, likely eventually thrown to thrift store pile. The glazed aquamarine model is fantastic. The wick 'spout' is well designed for the oil to flow back into the vessel vs over the side. Arrived with a silly super skinny wax coated wick, which would not absorb the oil. I used a fat 100% cotton wick. 1st lighting was tricky. After propping the wick up, lighting is easy, and nice bright flame. Using peanut oil. Vessel holds 3 Tbs, used a cup with a spout for spill free filling. May order more for Christmas presents.

Gives a bright steady flame
This little oil lamp actually works very well however there is a learning curve for using it. If you pull your wick out too far oil will leak over the front of the spout and down onto the table. When I blow out the flame I use a paperclip to tug the wick up a little higher so I can trim i. A paper clip is a great tool for managing the wick. I purchased the glazed lamp because I didn’t want it leaking everywhere and it doesn’t leak - as long as you don’t have your wick sticking out of the spout too far.

Tiny
It’s really cute, and looks like the picture shows but it’s tiny, and I do mean tiny. It was a gift that I purchased and I was almost embarrassed. I’m sure that it said that somewhere though so that’s on me. It’s very pretty.

I would buy again.
I use this in a religious Atrium, and the kids always wondered what an oil lamp looked like. Now it is a choice on our prayer table, and after several months, it is still the top pick.

Works but flame is much smaller than expected
I filled this with olive oil, and the lamp works great, but the flame is super tiny. I wonder if there is a different type of wick I can use that will produce a larger flame?

Be Ready
These oil lamps really do work, but you must trim the wicks. They are small, but do give light. I filled mine with olive oil and it worked perfectly. I keep mine in my kitchen as a reminder to be ready.
